    Alhamdulilah, I called NVC and got case number and IIN. CSR was nice enough and advised me to wait at least one week before paying it on portal. :)

    Called to NVC and got typical reply of "15 working days" for case number. :)

      Yes, it takes time. I had to week three weeks for it to be received and then another 10 days or so for the case number to be assigned! Just keep calling every other day or so. :)

    I have also checked your timelines.

    California Service Center is currently processing August 2, 2011 applications. Its mean, you should call USCIS and let them know that you havent got any approval notice.
