  1. Spurs are still dirty and had the Spurs not been rewarded by dirty play from the NBA front office, I doubt this series would have gone the way it did. Anyway, I am sure many will put an asterisk by this Spurs win and I know I will. Now,I am just ready for my Pistons to beat hopefully the Utah Jazz. My hope is anyone but the dirty Spurs in the NBA finals.

    :crying:

Oh my, let us not forget Utah's Malone and his elbows or the Detroit bad boys with Isiah Thomas.

The NBA Playoffs are always far more physical then the regular season. For years the Spurs, especially David Robinson were called soft because they didn't hit back as hard as the other teams. Well, now the Spurs dish out the physical play cleaner than any other team in the NBA with fewer fouls.

  2. I am just a bit worried now about ours because my I-94 form and my visa were already expired before I sent our AOS package. The I-94 form expired last March 25, 2007 and my visa was last March 31, 2007. Then we mailed the package on March 29 ang it was delivered and signed for on April 1, 2007. I really don't know whether the processing will take any longer or not. What do you think guys?

I wouldnt worry too awful much just yet. It can take a couple of weeks for them to cash your cheques and/or send out a NOA. As for your I-94 expiring ... from what I understand, many people wait over a year to file AOS - so you should be just fine.

And how about my visa? It was also expired already. Does it mean that I am illegally staying here in U.S even if we got married already until I get my Green Card? I wonder if during my future interview I will have to present my unexpired visa or do I file for visa extension?

If you came in on a K-1 visa, then the visa requires you to get married within 90 days. I believe that after that, you are technically out of status, but hopefully someone will chime in here as I'm really not sure about exact wording. You are still legal - just out of status (correct someone?). Your situation is normal.

I couldn't tell what visa you entered on as you don't have a timeline ... would you please do us a favour and create one? It really helps VJ members make accurate predictions etc.

My wife (J*C*H*2007) arrived under a K1 visa.

I have attached our timeline to her profile.

    God Bless,

    Phil

  3. The USCIS says that the I-129f Visa usually takes about 90 days to be processed.

The VJ estimate date for our petition to be adjudicated was about ten days later then

the actual date that it was approved, but they can only go by the numbers that people

place in their timelines and some choose not to do so. In our case it took 82 days

from NOA1 to NOA2. In our timeline, VJ says our case took 91 days to be approved,

but their counting of the days begins on the day the petition was sent to the

service center and not when we received our NOA1.

Hope that helps. Good luck on your journey!

  4. My Beloved Joynelyn and I thought that she might have become pregnant during my stay in Cebu City, because she had missed her period in the middle of my visit. Thankfully a week after my visit she began her period again and so we figured it was just nerves that caused the change in her period. Why did I say thankfully? Because it was the last thing she needed was to be alone, waiting on the Visa process and expecting a baby. It is hard enough being alone and waiting.

    Wish you luck.

  5. In reality that would be my preference. We plan on living here for 10 years and then I will retire in the Philippines. If I could find a job there I would move tomorrow.

I would love to retire to Cebu City or surrounding area. But like my Asawa-to-be says, "Who knows what God's will shall be for us by that time."

  6. In the middle of the whole k1 visa process, you and your fiance decide to just get married in their country instead.

Where is your timeline here. What does "In the middle of the...process,..." mean. Months, weeks?

If it is truly in the middle of the process, don't get married yet and stick with the K1. Not only will you start all over again, but it is my understanding that the K3 process takes longer than the K1.
