We met on the glorious afternoon of 6/16/11. By the 17th we knew our worlds had changed. Within 10 days we realized there was no going back. Our worlds must be combined. By 9/11 we were engaged. By 12/11 we were learning EVERYTHING we could about each other's worlds- history, culture, language, politics. And deciding which country we should spend our future in. By 3/12 we were beginning the process to make it happen. Almost a year later almost every waking moment is spent thinking about each other. By 5/12 we'd filed our I-129F! Now the future awaits us :)
It doesn't look like he'll have to pay for the medical exam because he will be retaining his Cuban citizenship. I'll let you know when he ARRIVES at my side, to have the answer definitively
I am just curious how he can retain his Cuban citizenship if he is gone for more than two years? Did you have to pay for the medical in the end or the Carta Blanca? Congratulations and thank you for all of this information!
