Yes, my office is the Orlando one. I filed early September and my interview is in 2 weeks. Good luck to all of you left, I am sure the interview letter will arrive soon.

Yeah, I'm also in Orlando and I filed about 2 weeks after you, but I haven't heard anything yet. I think I'm gonna wait a couple more days and then make an Infopass.

How do you know Tampa is working the September cases now? How can I find out the status of my local Miami office. We filed in early September and still no interview.

Oh I think I saw a member from Tampa here that got their appointment, but maybe I'm confused. I also thought that Denglish was in Tampa, but she is in the Orlando office right? I'm gonna wait a couple days and then maybe make an Infopass.

Also, try looking at the Immigration Timelines on the main menu of the page. Good luck!

Nope, nothing. It seems Tampa is the only Florida office currently working with September cases.

After receiving an interview in Feb, I got the following case update a few days later

On January 10, 2014, we sent you a notice that the interview scheduled for your I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS was canceled by USCIS

Medical appointment last week went well, nothing really to tell.

Embassy interview went well too. I was put under oath and asked for photographs with my petitioner and me, tax statements for 2012, new police records, and visas for previous entries to the US. I was also asked about my petitioner and how she became a resident in the first place.

It has been a long journey and a great pleasure/comfort to share it with the community in this forum, thank you everyone!

Yes, in general im not too bothered, at the end of the day we're here, happily (hopefully) married and most of us already able to work and travel and maybe some lucky ones already working ;-)

I know, I was so happy when I got my EAD! I have waited for so long already, what's a few more weeks. But sometimes I just want to reach the finish line asap

I find it hilarious that they asked for 2 pictures for each form (I think it came to 8 passport style pictures total) and then they use the sweaty picture from a hot October day from the biometrics appointment for the ead /ap haha... I was clean-shaved that day but a weird shadow on my chin makes it look like I have a goatee.

LOL

This made me laugh. I remember I did my hair and put on makeup when I got those 8 passport photos taken. But surprise, the picture on the EAD/AP is the one from the biometrics day, when I was actually running a fever, lol

javisakid, LOL! Yes, I can tell you that it feels good to become a Permanent Resident of the USA. I received a Welcome letter to USA 2 days after the interview date and my green card is on the way to my address which assuming that I should be receiving it in a couple of days. I am so glad that my immigration process has been completed and can put it aside and my next journey is to get a job( I mean a career) which is really hard but I will keep looking until I get one.

Thank you loudoff! I got my employment card and travel card last week! No word on the interview though. But when doing AOS, it seems Florida is one of the slowest states to schedule interviews. Keeping my finger crossed. Getting ready for the job search!
