  1. What you can do now is amend your taxes. The following information is for others who may read this, and run into your situation (whether by accident or don't understand what to choose on the tax form). The tax form has an option to file taxes as married filing separately if your spouse does not have a ITIN or SSN.

i know there is an amendment but there is no time to do that, i need to send the AOS as quickly as posible, I called irs and they said the only way to do that is to apply an itin # for her and it takes forever.

    Thank you

  2. Hello guys,

I need your opinions, Im about to send my wife AOS and my status on the transcrip says single, now i have no idea that i could apply for itin # for her but is all too late right now, is it OK to send an attachment letter explaning why my status says single and get it notorize? this is an honest ignorant mistake.

please let me know your thought.

    Thanks a lot

  4. Hi all,

My petition for my husband is still pending at VSC, however, I wanted to begin getting things together. He will need to obtain a police report from Lagos, Nigeria. However, he lives in Ghana (he lived in Nigeria in his early twenties). How much does the police report cost in Lagos? What will he need to send to Lagos? Fingerprints, etc? Thanks!

we all sent our i 130 at the same time and is pending approval at the same VSC, we are in the same boat please let me know if there is any information we can share and i will also do the same.

    Good luck to you!

    Thanks,

  5. Hello VJ friends

I have question that I need an advice from freinds, I have already filed i30 about 6 weeks ago for my wife overseas, we been married for about 3 yrs now and I have visited her twice and it seems like nothing is happening concerning her getting pregnant. she went to see a specialist to make sure everything is OK and she did several test which proved that she having a complecations, anyway she is close to 40yrs now, the question is can use that to expedite our case? and if so how do i proceed the whole thing? what documents to show as prove?

please any advice is much welcome

    Thanks a lot

  6. The lawyer gave you bad advice. Your obligation to the alien you sponsored continues until they (1) become US citizens, (2) work for 10 years, (3) lose LPR status or leave the U.S., (4) is deported, or (5) dies. As long as you have an obligation to the sponsored alien, you have to include her as part of your household size.

Now if my household size is 3 will my income of 27000 be enough?

  7. hello VJ family,

I have a question about AOS form I-864EZ, I co sponsored a couple last year, one is USC and the other was living here elligally and the USC income was very poor so I was asked to support him to file their petition, they went to the interview and were approved 2yr conditional card, my question is do I still have to count them on the form? I remember their attorney told me last year that since both of them are living here in US it will not affect my petition for my wife, because I knew I will be filing for my wife this year. my income right now stands $27,000 and I have no other dependants.

    any advice is much appreciatted.

    thanks
