  1. Hello,

Currently me and my wife are in the last part of getting her her visa and the last step is assembling the documents listed in packet 4. We have completed everything except the affidavit of support.

When we move back to America I will be unemployed and we are moving back in to my parents house for a short time. My mother would be the one supporting both of us while we are transisting. Which form do we have to file Exactly? Do I file the I-864 as the primary petitioner and my Mother files the I-864A? Or would she be considered a Joint sponsor and not a household member?

    Thanks for any help!

  2. Thanks for the replies!

The only reason I am asking is because as other people in Korea have posted. people uually received instructions on what forms and information the embassy needs almost at the same time as you receive packet 3. I have received nothing. . . just this e-mail that wants me to set up an interview. The most recent information I could find on the webpage for Korea in visajourney was this:

    http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/286841-dcf-process-in-seoul-republic-of-korea/

but its over a year old. . . any people in the same process in Korea have any more insight on this?

Maybe I am jumping the gun too soon, but I will contact the embassy if I run in to any problems. :)
