  1. please explain this email from CSC

Thank you for your status inquiry concerning an I-130 petition. We recognize your interest in a final adjudication on your pending petition and are aware of the difficulties caused by any delay in processing. It appears the processing time for your classification being reported on our USCIS website has not been timely updated. While we are looking to adjudicate these cases in as efficient a manner as possible under our resource constraints, our expected processing time for your I-130 classification is approximately one year ahead of the visa bulletin. Please feel free to submit a further status request if your petition remains pending within nine months of the appropriate visa bulletin date

  2. I sent them an email and this was thei answer

Thank you for your inquiry. Your I-130 petition is currently pending with our office. We recognize your interest in a final adjudication on your pending petition and are aware of the difficulties caused by any delay in processing. The California Service Center is committed to processing this workload, and will be making every effort to adjudicate your case in an expeditious fashion as soon as available under our resource constraints.

  3. Hey Guys,

I am LPR and I filed I-130 for wife on last week of February 2012. Application is currently pending at CSC. I got NOA 1 on Feb 23, 2012 and after that I have not heard anything from them yet. When I filed I-130, CSC Processing Time was 7 months, after few months it went to 9 months now the current processing time is 13 months. It looks like, when my application reaches 13 months, they will increase processing time to 16 months or so. Looks like they will never touch my paper. Is anyone there on the same boat? Is anyone, who is LPR, have recently got I-130 approved from CSC? If yes, what is your priority date?

    Thanks

Hi, well I'm worst than u my PD is Aug.2011 and no NO2

  4. Still here reading the forum :)

I have a question for everyone here: I know we are still far away from being current, but is anyone already thinking of the practical arrangements - quitting your job, terminating your rental agreement, selling property etc. - relating to the move to the US? I realise it would be safest to wait until one has the visa in hand to do all this, but my problem is that I have a three-month notice period both at work and with my landlord, and I just really don't see myself waiting out another three months after the interview. We've waited long enough to be together! Hence I might have to take my chances and resign a few months before I think our priority date could be current. Is anyone else thinking of doing this or am I crazy?

I think if got your visa in hand you will get rid of tension, and you'll enjoy your last days with your friends in your home town, wait till your PD is about to becomes current. good luck
