Hi everyone. This question is for my husbands cousin. She has been going to school here and now has a one year work visa for an optional practical training in education which doesn't expire till september. Her employer is willing to sponsor her green card but she doesnt know how to go about it. Does anyone have any information on this? It would be greatly appreciated

when i had my interview, she used by husbands tax return as the only criteria. We didnt meet the requirement so she gave me another appt to come back with a co sponsor ( it was two months later). What you can do is get a cosponsor, keep it in his folder, and give it to them if they say you need a cosponsor. the second time i went we had two cosponsor( one of them we didnt really want to use) so i kept it in my folder just in case they asked for it but the one was fine so we never presented the second cosponsor

we were waiting forever. I strongly suggest you email them at ivdvaccra@state.gov . tell them the case has been transferred there..theyll email you with the the date and time, you take a copy of the email and go pick up the packets. we were waiting for over a month, finally my husband email them and they told us to come pick up the next wednesday. email them now. good luck. let me know if i can be of any further help

me and my husband used magic jack records. what we did was take the message they send to your email stating this is your number...print my husband phone logs and highlight everytime he called that number or i called using that number. We used two different higlighters for incoming and outgoing calls. hope this helps

im almost positive that was everything
-
my husband was a student when he filled and he still is. Im assuming he wont meet the poverty guideline in which case youll need a cosponsor but if he does then it doesnt matter

i was abe to move mine from may of this year to last year december. my husband wrote an email asking them if he can have our interview moved based on his military duties
-
thats fine..whose does he have in ghana because i went to my phone company and they gave me a printed paper that showed my name and phone number so my husband just went in his phone logs and highlighted incoming calls green and outgoing calls yellow

they look at your latest tax transcripts.. if thats enough...youre good to go
but if you have some willing to cosponsor just have them do it just in case. If you end up needing it then you have it and if you dont need it ..better safe than sorry. Good luck dear

it took 7 weeks, 5 days from the interview approval ad two visits before i got my visa

Adjustment of status is for the immigrant. The forms are all about them. The only form and documents provided by the USC are the I-864 and its supporting docs.
thank you! your awesome!have a great day because you just made mine
thank u inky. god blessIf it is not on the list you do not do it.
AOS is for the beneficiary to get their green card. Not for the USC. The USC is only sponsoring the beneficiary.

You have to go to a civil surgeon with the vaccine card you have and they will transcribe the information on to the I-693 form (prices vary greatly around the country). They will check to see that all that need to be our done. Your medical is good for a year so as long as you file within a year of the medical you had for the K-1 interview you will not need that part re-done.
Just an FYI- tetanol is Td/tetanus in the USA. The doctor was trying to get us to pay another $250 for that to be re-done.
Hope it helps....
You can defiantly do this without a lawyer!
thank you so much! it definitely helps
. so he jus have to fill the vaccination portion right?
