AP is an open ended process. It could take days, weeks,. months, or even years. Typically it's on the shorter side of that, but there's no way to know exactly where your case will fall.
AP covers all activities after the interview, including additional background checks, verification of documents, supervisor review if needed, etc.
Everybody goes through some form of AP. AP for further review of the case covers a lot of people, of which I'm sure some were approved and some were not approved.
It means, you have to be aware of the Websites you enter for the DV visa.
All the websites that are official for the U.S government must have ".gov"
so for the future if you found a website for Visa or anything ending like ".COM"/ ".ORG" ... ETC = NOT OFFICIAL
