    Hi,

I have been through all this. I waited almost 7 years to join my spouse after marriage. Finally we are together alhamdulilah. I can relate all the feelings you people are expressing here.

But once you will be here in shaa Allah you will develop new sentiments.

When we are in the process we always wait for the day when we will be able to depart. But at the same time we forget about the persons who are with us, specially our parents. When we are getting mad to get the visa, our parents, brothers, sisters, they are the people we are leaving behind and show no attachment with them.

So until you are here try to spend your time with them beautifully because you don't know whether you will get the chance to spend time with them ever again. Specially your parents deserve your love and care, Don't pass this time in stress for a matter you have no control.

I am sure you will really miss this time. Life is not a bed of roses here, its demands are really high.

    Best of luck to all

    Great advice buddy.

  2. My fiance had his interview on March 5, 2011. The CO told him that his case is in AP, but it's nothing to worry about because everyone gets in AP and that it'll pass within 1-3 months. We waited for 3 months without calling the DOS or the embassy, and we got no answer. After the 3 months, I started calling DOS and he started calling the embassy in Islamabad. The only answer we would get is that the case is still in AP and that they can't give us any answer of when it will be cleared up and when my fiance will get his visa.

So it has been 8 months since our case has been in AP and it has been a total of 16 months since we have applied for the Fiance Visa (we applied in July of 2011).

I hope and pray that the visa gets accepted soon.

My interview was on March 22 , 2012 and I was issued a visa in June.

It took me nearly 3 months

  3. Bro i already told u in a seperate msg that u dont need any cetified copy u just need a copy of orignal birth certificate which is issued in english. I have filed my AOS with a copy of NADRA birth certificate. Keep in mind that u sent orignal birth certificate to embassy before interview and they updated thier record with a scanned copy of your original birth certificate before ur visa interview. So at the time of filling of AOS a copy of birth certificate is sufficient.

A copy as a photo copy?

  4. I forgot to mention here (I know we chatted a bit) that it will be easier if you have that copy on hand now instead of needing it later and not being able to get it as quickly. I'm sure someone who has filed from Pakistan recently might see your thread and be able to provide that answer. :) Good luck friend!

Thank you for your help :)
  5. EAbbas ....

My pray with you ... and my pray with everyone with this ramdam May Allah help us all of them tooo I aslo crying and feel like I am terroist

I have been AP for over 8 month and embassy didnt replay any of my email or phone calls .... i ask them about my passport 3 times to send me back my passport buz my passport will be expire in dec 2012 ..... and still waiting for my passport not come yet i feel so misble and sad feel like why they doing that with us and why they keep us apart from each orther like that i guesss they wants to everyone die to be apart from each orther :((((((

Anyone going through your situation would be upset, stay strong and do what you can, you will be with your beloved. just a matter of time.

  6. what's with the attitude? how about trying to be nice? some people never send cards or mail, does that mean they don't think their love is worth 98 cents? chill out,

Exactly , it takes months to get mails that way, so we relied more on emails.

Some people just don't like it simple :P

  7. Hello everyone,

I just sat here and read this entire thread. Very insightful by the way. To the gentleman and lady who initiated this thread could you tell everyone the outcome of what you finally submitted, how many pages, the interview, etc? I think this thread was amazing and to hear the verdict of it was a VISA Approval, prais be to God almighty. I would love to hear the specifics to the changes you all made.

    Be Blessed...

Thank you so much, may God help you with your journey and make it quick for you. I think my second last reply would suffice. If not ask me more. Be blessed :)

  8. Congratulations

So can you explain to us what happened? Did u get a second interview or just submitted the evidence requested?

There was no second interview , my case was approved in almost 3 months after first interview.

Evidence contained of Phone records (almost two years) skype, facebook, emails and some e cards I sent her. All that stuff which we didn't submit before. We also sent letters of intent, affidavits and a letter of confirmation from the wedding hall we booked.
