Well, it took our newly born son's birth certificate to get the notification below for my wife's card. It is a hassle and I feel bad for all RFE folks because it is a weird feeling that some is questioning your relationship. Changing the address in my case really played a role (at least a small percentage) to receive a RFE as one of the initial document that I've sent was a lease contract including my wife as a cosigner with her name next to mine.

On October 9, 2014, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

Nah, you'll fine. Each case is different and each officer is different.

Just got an RFE date 07/17. Apparently moving out couple months after sending the ROC is a red flag, regardless if your paper work is quarter of an inch thick. What I don't understand is that we received a letter saying that our case was sent to California for further review right after the change of address and the RFE's documentations to be sent to Vermont. Round 2, here we go.

I did! Try the other receipt number you have. They gave you two. I don't recall if it was the first notice they send or the latter, but the other one worked and one didn't!

Yes, you got it right. I was going by the receipt# in the Bio letter thinking it would be the same, specially that both started with EAC-141 . Thank you for your help...

Happyhastings brought a good topic. Would it be enough to take the NOA1 (+/- bio letter) and the will be expiring CG to the DMV to renew the DL? Didn't see any post that contribute to this point.

Your package sounds really good. We have joint bank accounts, joint utility bills, joint tax transcripts for 2 years and a tax return where I was listed on it but couldn't file jointly as I was in Canada still, life insurance showing us as each other's beneficiaries, deed to our house where we're both listed on it, medical insurance from his work showing me as insured, will/living will showing each other as beneficiary/executor, and pictures/affidavits/ID copies. Think that should do it!

What did you have for the Affidavit? and what form did you fill out? I might do the same.

So far so good. I'm going through my old files to see if I can add anything else showing both names. We have a solid 2 years of tax transcripts showing both names, medical benefits-dependency and her as being the beneficiary for life insurance , joint account, her State ID showing same residency as mine. hummm.....Oh yeah and the most important thing, an ultra sound of our beloved upcoming baby......still debating if I should add anything else but so far that what I've included.

TANGO!! Hi! It's good to see you - hope you're staying warm! We got enough snow here in Southwest VA to let me have a totally Canadian day (complete with Tim Horton's coffee, cheesy Canadian stereotypes, and snowmen ). We submit in mid March but our package is looking good! When do you submit?

Same here in Atlanta...not fun, 1.5 inch of ice plus snow this morning..moved down here to avoid snow to to face it.... not cool..not cool..

We should be submitting ours on 02/15/2014....I don't see any reason why we should be worried.

Keep in mind that your experience will be different from the experiences of people in regions that are declining/regions that are more remote or rural. Other than that, good for you in getting work so quickly and paying your visa fees so thoroughly. It's a good feeling!

Sorry guys it been pretty busy for me....Anyway good news, Visa approved and interview was pretty simple and easy for her. She said the questions were around what's your husband's job and how many people were invited to the wedding then Visa approved....I'll get you guys more details when I get a chance.

Woohooo, thx that was perfect, I feel complete right now!...I'm a coffee barrel as well, so I understand what going on with Trav (good girl for buying him grinds). I really hope that you guys get an interview, it really a matter of time and a waiting game, they are not rushing even with an expedite in a sense of understanding our situation. I found out that the fact of getting an interview didn't mitigate my anxiety because, in essence, we are still a waiting game. Won't be relieved until she's here. Other than that, she got her medical done on Monday, 1% done-99% to go.

LOL that's an excellent idea! Ummmm...I didn't see any interview dates handed out yet (that may change this week), I saw a couple case completes, and a few case numbers. most importantly - the IV bills are starting to be released! hooray!

Saylin since you get asked almost everything here on VJ I thought you might like to know how they look on the medical exam up here in the north.

In Scandinavia it is okey to book the examination without even having the interview scheduled. It is also not necessary for pregnant woman to have the chest xray, we don't have to do the xray after the baby is born either. Just incase you get a question about it...

Good day VJ Friends! I have a question out of curiosity. How long after your interview date is assigned, does your package get shipped over to the respective Embassy? (When does it actually leave NVC?)

My interview date was assigned last Tuesday and our casefile is still at NVC. Just wondering

I would not care about when or how long it'll take as long as you have an interview.

One more thing, I saw you wife's medical scheduled time, PLEASE make sure that your embassy has no minimum requirement of the medical folder to be received. In my case they asked my wife to get the medical 2 weeks before the interview (1 week MINIMUM) to allow enough time for the medical report.

Recently i told them that i wanted to leave, they ask me why, i told them i needed a raise and give them some salary requirements. I told them if not i am leaving, they didn t want let me go and promised this month they will approve my request. To my surprise my manager just inform me that i got all that i needed, i was like what???? After he said, now there is no need to leave us.... lol i do not know how i am gonna tell them that i have to leave anyways

Ohhh, looks like they're do it overnight - EXCELLENT!! Hopefully, by 6:30am, all IV invoices that were on hold will be released with the lower fee.

I hope NVC's servers can handle all of you logging on at 6:30 at the same time to pay

before i went back to egypt this past summer, we had spent a year apart (i can only travel from summer to summer) and so i had to readjust seeing my hubby live with me... it was like i wanted to share my experiences with my live hubby with my computer hubby... it was like 2 different people... very strange in the beginning when i first got there, just so used to sharing things via computer...

This is a very normal procedure to issue a false checklist for IV package when AOS has been approved.

They will have it tomorrow before noon. I just call NVC they told me that we do not have an interview yet and that i will have to call Next week to see

You'll hear something by Tomorrow....Fridays are good days for CCs and interviews!!
