We filed last month and I draw a railroad retirement disability, same thing as ssd, and we received a RFE yesterday that my income was not enough, although self employed also, my combined income topped $24,500, we were told it was under the poverty standard levels. It is sad, could have been overlooked account there is really no where on the I 864 to put the income, just had to add a supplemental page explaining it as it does not show on adjusted gross income either on 1040. So not taking any chances, and having a relative do a co sponsor for us. Seems like the fastest, easiest way to go rather then write back and forth and possibly be rejected. They talk about immigration reform? They should reform there forms is what they should do. Amazing also when I filed for my fiancé' that affidavit of support was accepted with the disability income was counted, then she gets here, we marry and then they throw a different form at me for support, and they reject it. Ironic isn't it?

Well, she showed up the second day, was given paper work to fill out, then sent to Quezon City to take pshc exam. Figure if you had an annulment and your annulment indicates that both you and your ex were pshc incapacitated, you will be required to have the exam. Chock up another 4000 pesos plus expenses. I sure wish that SLEC had better info on there site, and more clearly. After this is all done, I surely will write the clinic and ask them if the exam is required, and we pay so much for this, why don't they have staff on hand to perform what they request? 3 appointment, $600 dollars later, lot of headache for fiancée, and three trips to Manila, and one to Quezon City, she is exhausted. Now, she will go back for testing results, (another trip to Manila and expenses) I am praying this will be last trip to SLEC! Appointment date at Embassy is July 16th. Whew, SLEC should get there act together, and the U.S. Embassy ought to be on them about the inhuman, uncompassionate treatment of these people. We just keep praying, and do what we have to. I hope this post is of help to future people going for exam and what to expect.

And as others have said if the annulment states psychological incapacity as the reason ( for your fiancée ) they will require a psychological evaluation. This has been posted many times on VJ.

Just wanted to post this to all who will be going to St Luke's for medical exam. My fiancée has an annulment. Well, when she got to St Luke's on Monday, stood in line, finally got x ray and exam by noon. Then told to come back next day for Pshc interview account to annulment and shots. When she returned, had to fill out paper work for pshc exam, went into a room for the exam then was told she had to come back on Friday for an interview with pshc. NO SHOTS! Then after interview this Friday, has to return home, then come back AGAIN a week from Friday for her shots. This is absurd. She has a 14 hour bus ride round trip plus hotel and expenses each time she has to go. And in a 3 week time period will need to miss work a total of 6 days. This puts her job in jeopardy. And, mentally and physically she is fatigued. This is so inhuman. I apologized to her as this is her first glimpse of the USA and it is such a bad impression from Immigration to her. I am posting this as a warning to all who have had an annulment and what to expect when going to St Luke's. Remember to bring your annulment papers along, additional 1000-3000 pesos for exams. And of course the delay of three weeks. We are blessed her interview at the Embassy is not until July 16th so she should not have to change that. God Bless, and be prepared for additional time account of St Luke's policy about anyone who has an annulment. This came as a surprise to us, so I do pray this post helps others. I will keep you all updated on this.

I called NVC this afternoon, and they say it shipped, when I go to CEAC status page, for k 1 when I use non immigrant, Philippines, I get errors, When I use immigrant, and put in case number, it says Your case is in transit to counsuler section? Your interview date was provided to you by the national visa center? So, do you use the immigrant option for checking for k 1 visa status?

I went to www.dhl.com clicked Express then Tracking, then Track by Shipper's Reference, on this page you add your search info..You change the day and month to what you think your's might have left NVC

We already booked our interview for june 19 without the instruction letter from the Manila embassy, If you search some post here many VJ members proceed to the medical and interview without waiting for that snail mail to arrive as long as you have the MNL number, you can proceed to the online appointment.

What we did in our case is I did print screen the result in the online case status which says you are ready for interview and medical.
I will be taking my medical this june 4 without the letter from the embassy just include also your online interview confirmation data printed,

Called NVC, Yahhhhhh, they have received our petition today no case number yet. Praying it will be forwarded to Manila within 4 days or so, I see so many different dates on timeline, will keep calling to receive case number, then calls to see when shipped to Manila

We are going through the same thing, thanks for your posts. Once we get the Manila case number, we are going to call the US embassy and request the letter we need to send to Singapore for the coc. No sense going to Manila interview and then have to send for the coc. We want it before the interview account my fiancée lives 6 hours bus ride from Manila and no sense making two trips. We feel this will speed up the process so my love can get her visa asap. Hope this helps anybody.

Has anyone had to get a police clearance from Sinapore for Manila Embassy? If so, could you share how you did it? I figure I have to wait for my manila case number, call embassy and request a letter from them that they need the clearance, and then mail all required documents to Singapore. Anybody have experience with this and possible shorter or easier way? Want to save as much time as possible so can schedule an interview at Manila. Thank you

Our date is the same date. I call them everyday, 1-603-334-0700I am going to call now
It has been only a week. Due to Memorial Day, that would be 4 business days... Sat and Sun are typically not considered business days. No one can stop you from calling. Just be friendly.I just called them and ours has not arrived yet. They tell me call after 15 days, but I call everyday anyway. They are very polite. Hope that helps.

RFE disability income not included
in Adjustment of Status (Green Card) from K1 and K3 Family Based Visas

Frustrated! October we filed AOS for my wife, who came here on a k-1 and we are now married. When I field the k-1, it is a different affidavit of support form, my disability was allowed as income to get her here. Now married and filing Change of Status and for EAD, they use the I 864 affidavit of support form which is different. Anyway, got a RFE yesterday account "my income was below the 125% poverty level!! Fine and dandy now she is here and we are married! The I 864 form does not have a way to show my disability income without making a supplemental to it and adding a note to the process. So, it was RFE'd back to me. This seems really silly to me, and frustrating. Anyway, on the RFE it says either add assests or get a co sponsor. I would like to write them back and tell them to look it over again, with a copy of all I sent, but, I find just using a co sponsor will be much easier then trying to explain to them, (because you really never get to talk to anyone anyway!) So, will feel more secure to just use a co sponsor. I am writing this for anyone else that is disabled and searches for an answer. Hope this will help you. I know I searched high and low for help. When calling USCIS, they told me to consult an attorney. Well, if they figure my income is under poverty levels, how do they figure I can afford an attorney!
