      He can't :( He just got hired to his new work early november. We believe he'll not be allowed to go on vacay this december unless he quits (but of course, who would want that). The earlier plan is that I'll travel alone to US once I received my approved visa. But since he'll come back here in PI january next year, I'm gonna wait for him instead (he can't leave me once I'm in the US). The thought of being together next month to being together next year is devastatin...

      My mother-in-law asked me a favor coz she wants her son to come home here in PI to celebrate his birthday together with rest of the fam. That'll be in january 2012 pa. So even if I got my visa approved on Dec 9th, I'll have to wait till next year. No christmas and new years celebrations together then. :(

    Do they notify you when your NVC case is complete or when they send your case to your designated Embassy overseas?

      Yes, NVC will inform both the petitioner and beneficiary re CC tru email. I believe its packet 4. IR1/CR1 applicants don't schedule their USEM interview. NVC schedules on their behalf. That's how things work as far as I know tho (oh well, based on my experience of course). :)
