Bio-metrics has been done on 11/02/2017

No news after Bio-metrics, is there a way i can see why its taking so long? or when i expect the interview. Please advise..

I need your assistance again. I came to the US on 12/24/2012 and i am planning to file N-400 in a week or so. The documents i have prepared to file are:

1. N-400.
2. Copy of Marriage Certificate.
3. Copy of Green Card.
4. 2 x Passport Pictures.
5. Form G-1450 ( Credit Card authorization for $680)
6. Filing address for Texas residents

Hello Members, 

I am helping my friend and really need your advise here.

November 2015 - Came to US on K1 Visas.

December 2015 - Got Married (His Mrs is US Citizen).

December 2015 - Case Filed.

April 2017 - Green Card on Hand (Valid until April 2019)).

So the question is why his GC will be expiring in 2 years? 

1. Does he needs to renew his GC after 2 years? OR
2. He will be illegible for Naturalization.

Any help will be appreciated.

2008 : 30 days.

2009 : 30 days.

2010: 60 days.

2011: May 2011 - June 2011(30 days)

Nov 2011 - Dec 2011 (30 days)

2012: Mar 12 - Aug 2012 ( 7 months).

2012: Dec 12 - Present.

My wife visit once a year from 2004-2010

Visit twice with in six month - 2011-2012.

Then i got my green card and we are here permanently from Dec 2012- Present.

I am not sure is she qualify for the naturalization. Please let me know what is beneficial for us.

You can request for your passport any time you want to, US embassy ISL will call or email you when your AP is over and ask you for your passport to print your visas.

Thats called AP ( 221G) and its normal for pakistani applicant. You can't do nothing just wait. They kept my passport, medicals and gave me green sheet. They wont answer you before 3 months of time.

I have got my passport back in 18 days.

Hi all, wife was given interview date. Is the embassy going to send an instruction packet to her with the info on how to get her medical done or she can just take her interview appointment letter and have the medical done ??? What are the steps once the interview is scheduled.

Agreed with above statement.

If you are from KARACHI 'AGA KHAN Hospital is best' but you must have to get appointment from Lady doctor for your wife( as they have some personal issues to discuss at the time of medicals).

I need some advice from our expert senior members. I have got immigrant visas and flying by the end of Dec 2012. My POE will be ( G.Bush Int'l (IAH)).

Questions are:

1) What they gona ask at arrival (i do have a seal packet for them & Xray reports) what else?

2) My friends, told me to get your SSN and State ID card as soon as possible.

3) After how long i can apply for my passport? ( 3 years, 5 years)?

I mean, what other thing i have to make which will be beneficial for future.

Interview Date : 19 Nov 2012

Here is my journey. After 2 years and 5 months of wait finally got an interview appointment. Reached embassy at 6am, got the shuttle at about 7am, reached to the consular office at 7:20ish. Security done, finger prints done, went to the interview hall at 7:45. Finally got first call to submit my paper work at 10.30, guy asked me to submit medicals, Passport, asked my contact details, gave me purple token.

Right after an hour got the final call.

Questions was:

1) Marriage certificate in Native ( Urdu ) language. ( YES)

2) Do you have Nadra Marriage Certificate. ( I said no NVC havn't told me to bring that with me.

3) What have u studied in UK? ( I was in UK for 8 years)

4) Where did u worked in UK? ( Work History)

5) Consolur said every thing is fine, but the address of your wife and your brother in law ( Co -sponsor) is not same. (I was like how is that possible, i showed them new I 864 & I 864A they matched the address again and they said perfect.

6) When was the marriage held. ( Pakistan )

7) When you guys met? ( Date we meet)

XXXX HE PRINT THE GREEN 221G Sheet. But still asking me questions.

8) Have you complete all ceremony's like RUKHSATI? ( I said this has been done ages ago, i have a baby)

9) He then asked when was baby born? ( US )

10) Do you have Birth Certificate? ( I showed them US Birth Cert & US PP Copy)

11) Asked about International traveling ( I said UK only).

At the end, Every documents are in order and perfect, we don't need any thing from you but your case is in AP. It will take may be 2 months or 6 months. We will contact you soon.

ALHAMDULILLAH i have got my passport today with VISA.

AP period is 18 days.

I have read this 'ISLAMABAD AP tracker' last week (whole 120 pages), and then i realize that its better to forget about visa bcz few of you are waiting for passport for ages specially (Ebbas, Soccor, Arif and many more) i am not expecting call from AMEX but with the blessings of my family and friends i have got it today. My wife and baby were suppose to fly on 23 nov but they cancelled till january 2013 they want me to go with them to be honest ( cant live without my 6 months old baby ). I am thankful to ALLAH and always pray to all of you.

Just wanted to say on this occasion ' If you cant get something on time that means that particular decision/thing is not suitable for you for that time. ALLAH GRANT best options for all of us on perfect time. No body know's when but believe me that is best for you.
