The only fee at the embassy was the DHL fee if he gets approved and that it the cost for the shipping of his VISA. It costed 1200JA which was about $13 USD.

Packet 3 is the interview appointment letter, medical information of locations and addresses to get the medical done. Also the DS 156, DS 156k, and DS 157 and DS 230. I didn't actually see it because it took so long to get to him. Yes it was!! lol I panicked when I realized I forgot to sign the I-134. But it would have been ok as long as I was there cuz even if I didn't see him near the bathroom they would have given him a chance to have me come in and sign it as long as he told them I was there.

Nice!! We are still waiting for NOA2. Hoping for it beginning of March. According to timelines here, they seem to be a month early in approvals. How long was it in between your NOA1 and NOA2?

Third trip to Jamaica since July...just got back, and can't get focused!! Long distance relationships are so stressful at times.

Going well...just about ready to send off my packet. Just came back from Jamaica last night. Was there for a week. Got all my papers signed and took some more pics with his friends and family to include with the packet. How are things going with you?

Managed to guide my baby through the frustrating process of using the computer to retrieve the documents I e-mailed him to sign! His aunt, who also lives in my state is visiting Jamaica so he will send them back signed with her, and then I can get our packet out finally!!
Hoping this process moves as quickly as I have seen for some of you on here. -
Supposed to be doing homework for my grad school class but instead doing more of this VISA stuff!! Am I the only one who is completely consumed with this stuff!!! I feel like its taken over my life!! I guess thats what love does!

So I was supposed to go to Jamaica to visit my baby for his birthday on October 9, but he found out he has to go to Ochi for a training for the resort he works at. Disappointed I wont be able to get out there now until November sometime. Tickets are looking pricey for November too :/ This distance thing is no fun.

Yea I was online for a good part of the day too just researching this site and others to see what all I needed. Question....did u print the pictures on regular paper or photo paper? Also, how many did u include and what types of pictures are they looking for? I only have maybe 4 pictures of us together.

4 is enough for the intial application, you just need to show you met. I only put two of me and D (at hotel and Dunn's River). I put two of me with his kids (Dunns River and beach) and one of him in the Grotto Caves with the sign Jamaica to show that is where we were. I got those suggestions from my paralegal friend.
