we had AP too but all it meant was they needed extra time to process the visa. which isnt alot of work, but its snail's pace at that embassy. give a solid 2 weeks and you'll prolly hear something.
Hopefully it won't be too long, don't get discouraged. Many people get put on AP and only have to wait a few weeks to have the visa in hand. Stay positive!!
