Its been 3 months so far since we filed for AOS, from a overstayed b2 visa for me. I have gotten my EAD card almost 1 month now, I have a social security card, and I got my drivers permit. My husband and I are just waiting for a date for the interview. We live in New York so I know the NY office is extemely busy, but I was wondering generally how long does it take to obtain a interview date?

Me and my husband want to go to Las Vegas/Florida for a vacation, I was wondering if it will be ok for me to go(via airplane), without any trouble from USCIS.

I'm adjusting from B1 visa, which has expired. We filed in August of this year. I have already received my EAD, SS, and drivers permit. Im just waiting for my interview letter in the mail.

Does USCIS, send out an interview letter sent email, like they do with the EAD card?

I'm just waiting for our interview now, so Im very anxious to get the letter for the interview.

Went to SSA and applied for my social security card today, I was wondering how long will I receive it?

Also, can I apply for a drivers license with my ss card even though it says for work only?

I will be having are interview soon. I was wondering if we should bring our 18 month old daughter. Are daughter is very active and I know she want stay in one place, especially if we have to wait hours to see a immigration officer. So should be bring her, so they can see that we are a legetimate family or should I have a babysitter on our interview date? Is it beneficial to bring her or do the immigration officers prefer not to have children in the interview room?

Do you have children with your spouse who you are filing with? (just wondering)

I heard they do, and I know its about proving you have a genuine relationship, everyone knows this is purpose of the entire interview.

I heard the first impression is always important in a AOS interview, so I was wondering what do you and your spouse wear or plan to wear at your Green Card Interview?

Hi I just received a 3rd email stating that's in Post Decision Activity? When will I get my card?

Hi all, yesterday I received a 2nd notice that my EAD card is in production. Why would they send me one twice? In production on October 26, 2011 and In Production on October 31, 2011

thanks guys, Also when I go to SSA will they give my ss card right away or will it be mailed to me? I really dont want to wait again, but if I need too of course I will.

I was wondering what do I need to bring to SSA to get my social. I know I definately need my EAD card, but what else?

Hi everyone, I received an update that says my EAD card is in card production. (soooo happpy)

How long until I receive the card in hand, from the mail?

Since Aug 26, 2011,USCIS.gov says intial review, even after having my biometrics done on 9/21. Is this normal? When do they update there system?

I know some people contact a congressman (I think) to help speed things along with their case. Who should you contact if USCIS is not updating or progessing your AOS application?

I'm from Queens, N.Y., I sent out my application for AOS, together with I-130, I-864, and I-7?(employment authorization). USCIS received it on Aug 26, 2011.

Anyways, so far I received my NOAS and did my biometrics on 9/21. I've been anxiously checking the mail everyday since biometrics, and haven't yet received my EAD card or even a production notice from the USCIS.gov website. I haven't received any interview notice as of yet either.

I'm really hoping to receive either one very soon, cause waiting and wondering is a pain in the butt. So I was wondering how my fellow New Yorkers are doing with your AOS application and progress yet?

Almost 4 weeks after biometrics, no EAD card! Anyone else still waiting??

I did my biometrics on 9/21, and haven't received anything since (EAD). Also, on the USCIS website, there hasn't been any updates, since sending my appliance for AOS. I also never received any notification via email or text from USCIS. Anyone else waiting for EAD card? And did USCIS email you or update you on Biometrics appt? since I never received any updates.

Hi I was wondering, will I be out of status after I file AOS from marriage to my husband, I entered the country on a tourist visa.

Also, what happens if I should (God for Bid) get a arrested, will immigration deport me?

I have a tax ID number, will this be a problem when I go to the Interview because I know your not suppose to work. However the reason I got the number was to open a back account and file taxes with my husband. Please advise

Hi everyone I sent my aos package and uscis received it on 8/26. I got noa1s back and biometrics appt letter back on the same day two weeks letter. I did my biometrics on 9/21 and now I'm waiting for ead card and interview letter.
