K2 POE was today and everything went well except for one thing. Her I-94 has my father in laws info and not hers. And we all know it shouldn't be that way. Does anyone know how I can get this resolved ASAP???

I'm wondering if we should be concerned. We received this text/email from USCIS: On October 18, 2012, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I131 APPLICATION FOR USCIS TRAVEL DOCUMENT.

Since then we have received the EAD/AP card in the mail but still have yet to receive the Approval notice. Should this be something that we should still expect to get in the mail since we have already received the Card?

Depends on the age but usually it's nothing more than if they know the petitioner and/or if they wish to come to the USA.

The K-2 Visa is a nonimmigrant visa that is issued in favor of the child of a K-1 fiance visa holder.

I understand that the K2 visa is issued in favor of the KI visa. I'm just wondering if the child will be interrogated as the K1 visa holder was.

That's correct. However, depending on age, there may not be an actual interview. What you need is the procedure for follow to join for the specific country. Best to post your questions in the K1 forum.

Finally after having the bank call el consulado they accepted the money.. For some reason the employees at the banks have no idea what they are talking when it comes to paying those fees...Ugghhh how frustrating!!

So my step daughters mother has gone to 2 different Banco Populars and they both told her that she does not have to pay any fees not even the $160 for the K2. Is this information correct has it changed? Any one with a definite answer please help..

Yea i kinda figured that they just give a generic response.. Im just going to tell them to pick up the duplicate next Monday if neither of us get it by then and save my money and time from calling amd hearing the same line. Thanks

K2 still hasn't received packet 4 yet and neither have we. Should we continue to wait til Friday since her interview is on 10/29 or should I go head and request a duplicate?

I'll look into that spot when I go down to visit.From the website that Mall is beautiful can't wait to go down and see for myself. I've also called a few agencies and for the most part I've been told that the job market has not picked up yet. So I'll just keep on pushing til I find something at least reasonable.
