    YAY - finally heard from the Canadian embassy and the Egyptian embassy on the same day. I'm dying to know the wait time for an interview in Vancouver right now.

    Received the visa this morning! :) Just have to buy the tickets... Hopefully leaving Wednesday or Friday.

    Okay so we got a call from the embassy today, and they said the AP is over and we will get our visa in a week! That is like the fastest AP I have ever heard of :D just 24 hours of AP looool!

      They said they were sending it to the US electronically... But my guess is that they didn't even put us in AP. I think they didn't check, and just told us that they were putting us in it anyway just in case they had to. But I really have no clue why that happened. Alhamdulilah.

      Thank you everyone :)... Ya I hope our AP isn't long either... No, they don't tell you why you are in AP. I asked her some questions about it, and they were pretty generic answers. I am the petitioner and wife.

    Okay.... So we called the embassy today again... And they gave us a surprise interview in 2 days!!!! We were totally in shock. If we hadn't called we wouldn't have known about it at all... We totally were not expecting that... I am so nervous!!!!

    Spent almost 3 hours today talking and seeing my husband on MSN. I wanted to go through the webcam and just give him a huge hug and a kiss. As each day passes, I miss him more and more.Thank you God for bringing us together.
