As I'm perusing pages this morning, seeing couples still enduring prolonged separations I thought to myself "Lord thank you, because I couldn't do it." Then I thought of my story and the challenges I've endured. Only those who need to know will know it. This morning I can say "Lord thank you for this form of hardship, growth, and loves continued renewal!" No matter your story speak life into it. Proclaim the positive and pack all the dead and decaying thoughts ...

We need prayers...and ideas! Since Divine started working, my ex has been picking up our son from the bus stop in the afternoon. I pay the ex $35 per week to pick up our six year old cause he doesn't have J.O.B. and has no ambition to get one. Today he tells me he is out of gas after picking our son up for two days. I need prayer for a sitter in the afternoon for my baby. Someone who will be good to him, work on homework, play with him outside and just be there until we get home ...

Let me start by saying anyone married to a Nigerian man has probably experienced that their sense of humor can be a little off, but there are times when you can throw them for a loop...lol

My stomach has been fighting against me for 3 days. Last night he was in the car waiting for me and I sent him a text about the consistency. He responded back "bring it so I can see..." Sooooo... I put peanut butter on a baby wipe folded it and tried to hand it to him when I got in the car. I then placed it on his arm. If you could have seen his face!! "Did you just put poo on my body!?"

It is simply a matter of days now.....23 long months in the visa process and soon he will be POE and then home! I just want to offer encouragement to all no matter what stage you are at, God is good ALL the time, even when He makes us wait on His time! Use the wait time to build your relationship with God and see the amazing things He does for you!

Congrats! I must admit you saying you were still in trouble threw me off! I have been to VI twice traffic was horrible each time. I don't know why, but Nigerian men seem to think it's cute to say they were denied. They have no idea how emotionally draining it is for the person putting in all the work on their behalf

Our aniversary is next month.and my birthday is tnext month. This will be the first time me and my husband have ever spent an anniversary together. I need advise on what to do and where to go. Our finances are not that great cos he is not working yet, so keep that in mind when giving suggestions. ..Yaa to us for being able to spend our wedding day together. We used to dream of this day and now its our time. The lord said " my child it is now your turn." Amen.
