    woah your case was transferred to CSC back in May 2012? almost a year! My case hasn't been transferred. When I check my status online it's still at the very first step :(

    I can't believe we haven't heard anything back from the USCIS regarding my husband's I-485. I looked at several cases on here, people usually got their interview date w/in 3 months or so. I read your review and the interview didn't seem so intense, I thought they interview couple seperately.

    How long does it usually take for them the set up interview appt for I-485? It's been almost 4 months, haven't heard anything from them yet.

      Relax, it probably means you won't have an interview. About half of the cases are waived from it, but that means a long wait (up to a year). That's the deal, people who have an interview usually don't wait much (but it depends on each local USCIS offices timeline). They separate you at the interview only if they have suspicions on your relationship... Your husband has the EAD/AP, so the green card won't bring much. Think of it like that. :)

      were you transferred to CSC? if not you may have an interview...if not you are lucky. we were transferred to CSC since may 2012. still waiting and will probably contact senator or congress to help. good luck to you guys

      AOS cases are not transferred to CSC since August 1st of last year. The ones chosen to be waived from an interview stay at NBC and are adjudicated there.

      lol i'm going to get an RFE too because i sent in a copy of my marriage ceritificate instead of an official. so i'm just waiting for the RFE. i hope you don't get transferred to CSC cuz they are working on April 2011 only right now. that's a year off from us.

    Wow. MN civil surgeons are totally going to rip us off! I can't find any clinics that would only do the transcription for my husband! :(

      Is he missing any vaccines from his K-1 medical? Because seeing a civil surgeon for AOS may be useless if he met all the vaccination requirements at his K-1 medical.

      have you been looking around everyone? my husband was missing some shots so we had it done at our clinic (our docter) then took it to get it transcribed. luckily for us we found one that would do it for under $100. MN so big you would think that they'd have someone that would just do the transcription. dang those scamming docters.

    we're waiting for police certificate from Australia. Hope to get it in the next few weeks. then we'll send it to the embassy and hopefully he'll get his visa.

    not yet. He needs to send in one more document. we're waiting for it to arrive and then will send it to the embassy... then he may have his visa

    Just submitted a review for Embassy in BKK. Thailand. a few more weeks of waiting began!

    I think it's going to be approved once we have that fingerprint clearance from the Australia. They told him to send in his passport along w/ the document.. so i bet it's partially approved.

    sucks.. Need Australian police clearance for both name and fingerprint check... another 2-3 weeks...
