    Eligible for N-400 (USC) in 2 1/2 months (80 days). That seemed to come around real quick from ROC approval... Should probably start studying soon!

    2 days ago i entered USA with my conditional green card for the first time, it was smooth, the officer didn't even ask for my Marriage certificate, as i changed my surname since K1. It was at San Francisco airport.

      haha yeah.

      oh do you know we have to go change the 'type' of SSN card after we got the conditional green card? since the 'hours allowed to work' has changed from when we are on K1.

    One year ago we filed for my K1. Im in the USA, married, SSN, EAD card in hand and I bought a car yesterday. My life is finally settling down again. Hang in there anyone whos waiting. It will come to you. x

      hehe yes good on you! i also got it on track after 1 year. except i haven't got my driver's license now and haven't changed name on my passport.

    Just when I thought the long wait was over....it is 10 days since my visa approval and still waiting to receive my visa, surely not much longer now!

      yeah i still haven't got mine. went to consulate today, lucky i got to talk to someone. she said my passport is in Baulkham Hills Post Office........ how can that person get it so fast?

      great! when did you leave the consulate? I wonder how many people they book in one hour, there were 20+ people there when I arrived. I knew another girl also had 11am as me, and the guy came with us was probably the same.

      I got mine done at just over 12noon, so just over an hour.

      let me know when you receive your visa in hand! Did you ask them if we can track it?
