What do I need as a petitioner for the interview?. She received the package but some forms are in English. I got a letter from the bank, income tax (is it required)? what else should i include??

Waiting for the Interview date and getting all documents. What documents are required from the petitioner besides the affidavit of support? are income tax forms required?

How long does it take to get the passport back w/visa from DHL in Lima-Peru after the interview??? We heard different time periods, . We need to buy our return tickets... help!!

Does anyone know, how long it takes after the interview to get the Passport w/visa back from DHL in Lima? I am trying to buy my return tickets but don't know when to schedule the return?

We recieved the packaged with instructions today, My novia called me so happy. Now the medical exam is in 2 weeks w/the female Dr, then th einterview by 4/24.

Consulate already received our paperwork and interview date was set for April. Waiting for package to be received in order to get things ready for interview. We are so happy, its a matter of time, thanks to all for your help.

Got a l;etter from NVC my paperwork was sent to the US Embassy in Lima on March 6th. Now we are just waiting for the interview date and the package, do they notify you by email anymore, or its just the package via regular mail. I am concern cuz my fiancee lives far from Lima and mail not always makes it there..

Ok Im back we spent a few days in Panama, went to the beach and different tourist places, it was a nice getaway. It was hard to say good bye at the airport. She went back home and I returned to the US. When I got back there was a letter from NVC that the package was sent to the US Consulate in Lima. SO happy we are just waiting for the letter from the embassy. Does anyone know how long it takes?

Ok rather than waiting I asked my future wife to pack up her stuff and we are going for a getaway weekend. Nos vamos al Caribe por unos dias ya que no hemos celebrado ni navidad, ni año nuevo, ni valentines, pero vamos a celebrar un aniversario mas juntos (mientras esperamos. Called NVC today and they gave me my NVC number, but they don't know how much time it will take. Is under review n processing I don't know how long that takes. I guess I just have to wait. I am wondering what is the average wait time for others before release from NVC to the consulate

Good News NVC received my package today.

God has a reason for everything, we had talked and going stronger than ever, she really felt lonely and was facing a lot issues. Thanks to all of my friends here for your support. Just waiting for interview date..

I put a service request on 2/14 to expedite it. That was my gift to her for Valentines... I didn't get anything from her ;-(

Anyway the service request seems to work...

FRIENDS We have been approved after 199 days of waiting... after doing so many things to expedited such as congressman support and also putting a service request...that is the good news. Bad news is that she was so upset that we have not heard anything for months, that now she is not talking to me... and I have not told her the good news yet. I don't know what to do? I waited for so long and now she puts herself on this situation. I hope all of you that are waititng get your NOA2 soon...

Cotacted a congressman and we got same response allow 30 more days and contact us back then... I amy have to just book a flight and see my lovely future wife, thos wait is killing us both and impacting our relationship. She started working and now might be bound to a contract w her new employer... God helps us...

Still no response no NOA2.... 190+ Days and still waiting. I don't know what to tell my fiancee anymore, this wait its been very challenging, all I do is pray for now. God is my only support for strength and hope. I do love her, and that is the only thing that keeps us going. So disappointed about the bureaucracy, the red tape and the inefficiency of our system....

173 Days and still counting...... no signs of our NOA2.. My beautiful fiancee is sicks and was almnost admitted to the hospital once again, and I am not there to help her or at least be by her side.
