  1. With respect to all K1 filers, I am trying to understand how those visas are processed so much faster than CR1 visas. I mean we are already married, and in some cases more than two years, but yet we have to wait the longest and get the least amount of information regarding the status. It is like it is a penalty for doing getting married. That just makes no sense at all in anyway.

      It is because you get a green card through marriage, as a K1 holder the process of applying goes on further. I have been waiting for my adjustment for 8 months, if you add to that the 8 I waited for my visa, you'll see that, time wise, you are doign better.

  2. What i don't understand in the 3 years rules of acquiring a citizen is Must you be married to your US spouse for a period of 3 years to file or Wait 90 days to your 3 years of being a legal permanent resident of the united states?any update on this topic will be appreciated

      It's 3 years since the date written on his first green card.
