Howdy! Just wanted to see how things were you going for you guys. I was thinking about you and Om&AbuMalik the other day, and I thought I better check in. All the best, Amy
-
I was just thinking about you and your husband and wondering how you guys were doing. Said a prayer that everything is going well for you. All the best, Amy

Married! Thanks to everyone in the VJ community. Without you, we might have given up on this crazy process and instead moved ourselves to Canada or Egypt.

4. But even better, example filled forms are here: http://www.visajourney.com/content/examples
I feel like these helped with some things even the guides didn't. Good luck!

2. If you still want to do K-1, be sure to get an extra copy of your medical exam. Also read up on all the ####### you have to do once you get to the US, compared to the spousal visa

Hey, couple of suggestions for you, if you are starting over:
1. I did K-1, but I wish we had married first. It's easier once you get here, takes about the same time, causes less trouble with financial sponsorship (depending on your embassy), and I think it might even be a little cheaper (K-1 total ~$2000, excluding travel, for the $340 I-129F fee + the $350 K-1 fee + ...

Just picked up the K-1 visa... best feeling in the world. Beware - he was so excited, HE ALMOST OPENED THE PACKET. Even though he knew not to. Warn your partners! Warn them to warn you!! Anyway, must obtain a compliance letter to import his car and then we are off to Oklahoma...

We were approved! Thanks for asking, you are too sweet!! How are you guys doing? Do you have a date yet?
-
APPROVED!!! Thank you, VJ, and especially to Om&Abu Malik, CamiandAmr, love my baby, and Piefre for all your help and support.

Thanks for your note! We passed the medical - interview on Monday - thanks for the prayers!

Howdy - did you see any fiances attending the K-1 interview in Vancouver? Do you know if they allow it?
-
Hello again - were fiances allowed to attend the interview in Vancouver? I can't understand whether the consulate is telling me, "yes" or "no"... Although I'm already here in Vancouver, so... Anyway, hope your POE went smoothly!

Hey, nice post on what to do for the K1 visa. You make a good point about the use of lawyers, also.

He's living in Canada now, left Egypt in 2008
I am the USC - kind of from Oklahoma
Utah - I've always wanted to see it. Why Utah? Family?
-
So are you still in Calgary or are you in the US now? Where in the US will/do you call home? Thanks again for all the info - you have been very helpful to us

Hello! May I ask how you obtained the copy of your medical results at Woking (apart from the sealed envelope)? Did you have to ask, did they give it to you at a certain point, etc.? I emailed them to ask, and they said "$30." So, of course, if I can get around this, I would prefer it

YAY - finally heard from the Canadian embassy and the Egyptian embassy on the same day. I'm dying to know the wait time for an interview in Vancouver right now.

Thanks to you and your husband both for your help! We received our Egyptian police certificate yesterday. I feel like I can breathe again. With much gratitude, Amy
