Just called USCIS to try and get any extra information on my case. The first time I called, I waited about 10 minutes and then it just hung up on me! 😖   So, I called back and had to wait another 15 minutes.  At first, she was having trouble finding my case in the system so, she asked me more questions and I gave her the answers. Finally, she found it and gave me the information about the last notice mailed out (my Biometrics appointment on July 14th). So, then I asked if I could get some more information on my case, such as if the background check was done. So, she asked for my zip code (to locate my local office) and she put me on hold. She came back after a few minutes and told me that she was unable to find out anymore information. All she said, was that it looks like there's nothing wrong with my case.  And, she told me things I already knew.... the current 6 to 13 month processing time for N400 forms at the Detroit office. I told her about this website and how someone posted about getting their interview notice and, they applied a month after me. She just said that each case is different and to basically be patient.

I called them once asked about my current status then the officer said your application has been entered into the system which schedules interviews and recently messaged in my account got the same reply, so I would say just wait I know it's hard to wait but we got no other option rather than waiting. I hope we get our interview letter soon this month.

Hello guys, I applied for naturalization online in August 2018 and did my biometrics in first week of September 2018, since that finger printing date I have not heard anything about my case but right now case completion time says 10 months (aug 2019). I looked at my case status with just entering my receipt number it still says the same thing ( we have scheduled a biometric appointment for you on aug 22 2018) and on the dhs website in my account it says ( we reviewed your biometrics, you do not need to do anything at this time) so since both the websites had different information I had to message IO, i asked about my case then they replied saying. YOUR APPLICATION INFORMATION HAS BEEN ENTERED INTO THE SYSTEM WHICH SCHEDULES INTERVIEWS AT THEIR LOCAL FIELD OFFICE. INTERVIEW APPOINTMENTS ARE SCHEDULED AS SLOTS BECOME AVAILABLE AT THE FIELD OFFICE.  So that means my background check is done? M I in line for interview? Response would be appreciated.

PD August 2016, I-130 got approved in January 2017, I do have nvc case number, but I won't be doing what most people are since both me and my husband are in the country. It will be AOS, so I believe the nvc has to transfer the case back to usics once a visa is available. It super complicate and it sucks that not a lot of people are doing it while inside the US.

Well I would have not let my wife go back to her country instead would have filed for adjustment of status but she wants to complete her final semester

Are you talking about movement in I-130 approvals? Or when you are going to be able to submit the rest of the documents. Our I-130 is approved and just waiting for the bulletin to move so we can submit the rest of the paperwork for AOS under "Dates for filling"

When did your petition got approved and did you receive nvc case number yet? Yes I was talking about the petition and I think i have almost a year to get my pd current.

Congrats! How is your PD 22 sept 2016 and you are approved? My husbands' is August 24 and table 2 says they are currently working on April 2016. Am I missing something? He is in the country with a valid status and we plan to do AOS once the bulletin moves. What was your process like?

Idk where you looking at and what's your filing status, ours is i130 petition permanent resident filing for spouse and on the website it's says they are processing august 2016 cases but actually started September cases as well. My wife she already has an b1/b2 visa for 10 years and I was very scared to call her here for visit as she has break from university so finally she's here and 'll be going back after a month.

  7. Can anyone explain me how to match visa bulletin with my case, I mean what actually visa bulletin Is? My step dad was a us citizen at the time when he called me here on gc and there was no such thing like visa wait time after nvc gets done with its process. Now I have filed a petition for my wife which is I-130 permanent resident filing for spouse our pd is Sept 22nd 2016. What is visa bulletin and what happens if our pd is current? Replies would be appreciated.

Nothing here. I also read about that isolated case, but have not got validation for it. Why are there no other F2A September filers who update their timeline on VJ if there are really No2?

Hey... I'm back here again I use to update my case status and get updates from this forum, my visajourney was for almost 2 years though my father was us citizen but my case was in administration processing and had 3 interviews to get visa. Finally I'm here in states and recently got married while my wife was here on visit and I'm still a permanent resident applied for spouse visa to get my wife here, the pd is 22 Sept 2016, it's been almost 10 months still waiting for uscis to approve our i130 case. I know how stressful the wait time is but we met 5 times in different countries since we got married. My question is her non immigrant visa b1/b2 it's still valid for 10 years, can she visit me for 1 or 2 month? Reply would be appreciated
