I just called NVC.......... Same answer... we are working on Jan 2010 case...............

I hope the PD just keeps moving! By the way does anyone know how much time it takes to get the visa after the interview?Do they send your case to AP?

They take between one to week to send the passport back after the interview.

Hello, Ali. My wife case was completed April last year and the PD is Sept 2, 2009. We had a new baby in November so I called NVC to add her to the application. NVC opened the case and I deposited $ 404. and they accepted the application and competed the file on February 3rd. Now I just called NVC at 11:50PM on March 6, (around 2 PM EST) and the good news, M wife is scheduled for interview for April 05, 2012. Let me know if you have any question. Ashu !!!! I have a question. You said u got a newborn baby and you reopen the case again. and your priority date is current. So you think they give the interview date this month month for both ?

I am calling US embassy Islamabad for the last 1 hour but can't get through...I got through once but then lost the connection..Does anyone from Pakistan knows any number which I can dial and reach someone easily.

you mean that although you had joint sponser again they have asked you for petitioners tax return?does your petitioner has a job in us? by the way in my i864 affidative of support form i have mentioned my husband income ( zero) and ve heard that when your petitioner incom is 0 then you could have a joint-sponser!

either your Income is zero, But you have must to submit the Tax Return. I do like same . I also submit the the joint sponser Tax Returns and I864 form...

If ur husband does not work in US ,and has not filed taxes in US,You must present a letter explaining why ur husband has not filed his taxes...In this case the reason should be that he does not work in US.

I got a same issue....I submited the explaination but they told me must submit the Tax Return... Then I submited the Late Tax Return. I think you contact with good Immigration Lawyer.....
