Got the interview date finally... September 26. About the same amount of time from submission of packet 3 to the interview date as Nonchalante.

So I just sent an e-mail inquiring about an interview date and got back pretty much exactly the same e-mail as Nonchalante that they did receive our packet 3 and it is about 8-10 until an interview date.

8-10 weeks huh? We sent in Packet 3 one week ago. I was hoping it we would get something fairly soon about an interview but I guess not.

Hey Dan I think something might be up. We sent ours in June 3 and a response (NOA 1) June 7th, and got NOA 2 June 9. Lost in the mail maybe? Did you send an e-mail or give a call. Although the call is not very helpful because the lady there is not friendly, refuses to look anything up, and will just tell you it can take up to 90 days.
Change of Address during the process
in Direct Consular Filing (DCF) General Discussion

My wife is about two weeks away from her interview. We are doing a CR1 DCF at the embassy in Bangkok, Thailand. I moved back to the U.S. last month. We originally put down my mother's address for where she is expected to reside. I recently left my mother's place and moved closer to my work. Should we tell the embassy that? Is there a form for change of address (I tried a google search but the ones I found were not for immigrant visas or where we are at in the process). Or should we just let it ride as my mother's address as the interview is fairly soon (10 days)? I am just worried they RFE of my domicile in the U.S. as I have seen from previous posters about the embassy in Thailand. And if I send them my apartment lease the embassy people are going to wonder why we didn't tell them before hand of the move.
