I also plan to let my mom stay in Yang's, thanks for your recommendation, it make me feel much much better since my mom has never being Guangzhou before, and she plan to go alone.

I got an email for NVC with attached file named XXXXXXXXX - std p4 app.pdf which is all in English, is this the Interview Application Letter my mom will bring with her for interview?

Inside the letter, there is an paragraph as the following:

"An immigrant visa interview has been scheduled for the applicant at the U.S. Embassy/Consulate in

GUANGZHOU ELECTRONIC on October 11, 2011 at 12:30 pm."

So the date and time above is for fingureprint and document intake, right? but from the file, it didn't mentioned that you need to come back next mooring at 7:30am for interview, how do you know it?

Another question: my mom's visa interview is scheduled at Oct 31,2011, my understanding is that this scheduled date is the date for figureprint and document intake, the actually interview by visa officer is the next mooring, am I right?

I got an email from NVC today attached a CHECKLIST LETTER Response file. It ask me to send DS-230 package to NVC, it also say

"Please include a copy of this letter with your correspondence and write your case number clearly (exactly

as it appears below) on the upper right-hand corner of all documents."

So when I send DS-230 set to NVC, do I need to include this checklist cover page file or the cover page from where I pay the IV fee?

Also can I only put the case number on the righ-hand corner of the first page for each document or on all pages for each files?

I have another question that when I send DS-230 package set, I need to scan passport style photo to pdf file and send it to NVC with DS-230 form.

I have passport picture digital file (2' x 2'), when scan to pdf, is there size requirement? I open it in paint program, then print it to PDF, but the picture is larger than 2' x 2', is it OK?

OF-169 form is only used for:

K-1s

CR-1s, IR-1s that are doing consular intake on forms, usually called DCF, Direct Consular Filing.

To the best of my knowledge, this is not required for IR-5, or indeed any IR/CR visa type with document intake at NVC (as opposed to the Consulate).

What's the difference of consular intake and document intake? My mom is in China now, she need to interview at Guangzhou, which one is she belong to?

it includes OF-169 form and say that NVC will not schedule interview unless NVC receives this form, but it doesn't mention that who need to fill in this form.

I apply for IR5 for my mother I already pay the IV fee today, now I am preparing DS-230 form and othe documents.

I use electronic processing. The consulate is in Guangzhou China.

Inside the DS-230 package, it should include:

DS-230 form,

civil documents(for beneficiary and petitioner).

photocopy of beneficiary's passport (picture page),

2 photocopies of benecifiary's passport style picture,

package 3 supplement sheet

Did I cover all documents above?

I have two questions:

1: When should I send OF-169 form? where should I send it to? OF-169 is a 9-pages form, should I just send the pages in Chinese or all pages.

2: Do I ask my mom to prepare a mailing address label (EMS label) from post office? should it be in Chinese or English?

How can I know NVC receive my documents? How can I know that AOS documents are ok now? Is the IV bill only invoiced after NVC receive my AOS documents?

That's that I am thinking, so I don't think I need to fill that DS-3032 again, right?

What the confirmed receipt of DS-3032 email looks like? Did the email assigned GZO number means the confirmaton of DS-3032?

I got NVC case number at 08/01/2011, then I (my mom) sent OPTIN email with DS-3032 form to designate me as her agent.

I got GZO number at 08/02/2011.

After one month's waiting, I finally got my AOS invoice today. I got two emails from NVC and the subjects are:

1: XXXXXXXXXXXX (PAOSF I-130 UNIVERSAL)

2: XXXXXXXXXXXX (ACL UNIVERSAL) ------ This one with an attached DS-3032 form and also talk about DS-261 form.

My questions are: Do I need to fill in the DS-3032 attached in the email?

who needs to fill in DS-261 form?

I am still waiting for the AOS bill being generated.

But the strange thing is that when I try to login to NVC payment center to check if my bill is invoiced or not, I got login failed inforamtion as "this case is not eligiable for further processing......." and my name is gone and also no AOS fee and IV fee information there.

It's already one month since I got my case number,but still didn't get the bill.

I feel frustrated!!!!!

No, I am still waiting. I sent email to NVC, they told me that my case is undergoing additional processing, I am totally confused. I call them and they told me have to wait 2 ~3 weeks, but now almost one month past, still waiting.

Until today, I still didn't get my AOS bill, when I login the payment center, it's NOT INVOICED.

I send email to NVC, and get a reply saying that your case is undergoing additional processing,when it finish, we will give you further instruction.

I really what the additional processing means.

I got case number signed Aug. 01, sent DS-3032 and OPTIN to NVC, got GZO number Aug 02, but until now when I login to payment center, the AOS fee is still not invoiced. I also didn't get any emial from NVC.

I call them, the operator told me he will send my query to NVC.

Is there something wrong?

Yes I think in Chinese is better since the main part is the applicant's address that make NVC know where to send interview letter.

I don't know if I need to fill DS-2001 or not, I just did some study and see you have to fill a form to tell NVC you have prepare all the documents needed and ready to interview, and send it to NVC with your DS-230, so what's the name of this form(DS-2001 or OF-169)? should it be filled in beneficiary's home language or English?

2: We should fill in DS-2001 form and send it to NVC with DS-230 package, right? Should I fill in DS-2001 form in English or Chinese, especially the Applicant's Address field for receiving interview letter? What the date means in the form, signed date or plan to interview date?
