I already finished my Medical exam last week.

Here are some things that happened to me that might help other's out.

1. Bring 2 sets of your letter of your appoinment. (photocopy)

2. 1 PHOTO COPY of passport

3. Bring 3 pcs 2x2 pic white bacground that shows your ears. If your ears are lil have your

pic taken with your hair tied at the back. They are strtict with it.

4. last time i paid 9174 php Bring your peso no USD.

5. Arrive earlier than 6 am ( i arrived at 6 i was 224 inline and more to go)

6. Don't bring someone with you who isnt going to have medical. If you got kids with u its ok to bring someone to look out for them.

7. eat breakfast. the line is too long ull spend 3-5 hrs in jst getting your name in their data have ur pic taken for their online data base and submission of those photocopied papers and finally you can pay at the cashier.

8. Then i ate lunch a quick one

9. Thwn they had me xrayed-blood test-vital signs height weight eyes checked physical exam and interview for immunization and they determine what they give you.

10. gave a schedule for immunization the next day afternoon.

next day

11. got in early at 10 30 am even if my sched was at 1:30 waited for 2hrs for my vaccine ( igot 3 shots if u got anti tetanus shot u'll get fever too.)

12. then waited another 3 hrs for releasing. ( this my experience the medical exam might get alil bit diffrent if u get diffrent results.)

13.they gave me my passport back and jst gave me a photocoy of my immunization chart and my xray in CD.

HAPPY IM ALREADY DONE.

i got my umbrella snatched while im having my passport photocopied there. SO I MADE SUrE I PAID MY MEDICAL FIRST BEFORE TRyING TO GET OUT THE BUILDING AGAIN.

It isn't enjoyable especially for kids awwwwww!

I met someone in St. Luke's we did our medical exam together. She was on CR1 visa and her interview date is on Oct. 3rd. She's not a member of VJ though

The NBI is back to its regular operation. I am waiting for my NBI clearance too which I applied last week of July but was told it's Manila NBI office who has the control of it and cause of the delay..typical government thing, of all the upgrade and everything but I was told that if I need the clearance quick, its best to reapply and have a new clearance right there and then (2 hours to wait if we have no hit).

i got my NBI last month it took me 3 hrs to get it i got no hit... its in muntinlupa alabang near the fire station inside the market forgot what is the name but if u go there around 4pm ull get it by 6pm :* i got lucky one day processing try getting it there since its so fast therei jst dnt know if u got a hit they told me 15 working days good luck

guys, do you know which documents we need for the interview....

and also, i just want to ask... do we need to get CENOMAR from NSO for the interview???

CENOMAR is certificate pf no marriage. i was told we needed to get this for the interview. I am confused!

What i know is if your fiancee you need to bring Certificate of non mariage and if u are married NSO cop of your marriagecert will do

Great to know i jst got my cased closed today i'll call us embassymanila tomorrow and ask for interview schedule jst for info. DOes anyone know if we still need to pay something at the emabssy upon interview?

Congrats! NVC will now process your DS-230 and if everything is ok you will get your interview letter soon. Keep calling them to check the status.

As you already know, I got married a few weeks before you and am also preparing the I-130. I agree that you should use your maiden name because all your documents have that name. I filled everything with the maiden name...much easier...less confusing! I will take his last name later on.

Good luck...seems we'll be filing around the same time...

AGREE with this im waiting for my interview date done everything with my maiden name. I'll let u know the outcome

Congratulations! DO you have an interview date yet? Keep calling NVC for the date, hope you get in for October interview.

I Hope everything goes well at the interview, Whats your status?

I just sent ds230 hopefully they recieve the packet by nextweek and if its fast like yours ill get the interview date information the week after next it was difficult obtaining a certain document that we needed so it delayed us in sending the ds230. keep us updated on ur interview especially what questions they throw in

good to see that most of us have interview dates.

Finally, after a rejection, my IV bill is paid! I also booked my medical (for those waiting, you can do it anytime after you get your NVC number - make sure you keep a police certificate handy for the appointment).

Oh so good to hear that you could do that there here in the Philippines we need to have the letter of appointment first for an interview date before we can schedule for a medical check-up. tsk tsk

HI_.-*GRAY*-._ I sent about 5 Marriage Pictures with my DS-230, Didn't want to miss out on anything . You too send some pics there is no harm.

i also want to ask bout ds230? did they send u any instruction i hvnt recieved anything aside from aos and i printed out the barcoded cover letters since its already paid.. Aos has been sent to nvc... i wonder whats next the forum is much more informative

mine was like that. They recieved my case and the next day i recieved another email stating that i already have my case number ...

Youll have it soon !!! try calling them back if u havnt. Maybe the CSR will be able to provide some info bout it....
