I always dread the trip... it's usually at least 24 hours total, including layovers. When I flew here two weeks ago, I had a 12 hour flight from Chicago to Amman (in between my other two flights), and I took an Ambien after about one hour into the flight... I slept almost the whole way!! Try to take it if you can.

I will be leaving Lebanon on 11/28/11. We are still counting the days we get to be together. Less than 20 days. Gosh, I miss him so much. Let me know how your wedding goes and where you are staying in Cyprus. You will have a wonderful time. We miss the time we were there and want to go back. Nice wedding and honeymoon in one package.

Glad to see that you will be getting married soon. Send me your phone number in Lebanon so that we can meet and go out for dinner. You will have a wonderful time in Cyprus. I married the man of my dreams and all we want to do is to be together and begin our new journey. I get frustrated when I hear all triumphs that people from MENA had to go through in order to be with their spouse or loved ones and even sadder when I see that their visa/petition has been denied. When I see someone from MENA gets approved, I'm soooo very happy for them. Without my husband, there would be darkness. He always tells me that he is the lucky one, but I feel that I’m the lu...

I'm in Coloarado. I used to live in Louisiana - Ft Polk. I miss the fishing in Cameron and the crawfish. :-)

I'm know it's still early but I'm getting impatient. We are missing eachother so much. What's going on with CSC? My estimated date moved to Dec 13th. :-( At least I get to be with my husband in November. Yeah!!!

@ lizhebert - Congrats to you as well. My husband is coming towards the end of Jan. He's got a lot of packing to do and needs to ship some of his personal belongings to our house so he doesn't have to take more than 2 suitcases. Best wishes to you and your family and hope your finance has a safe trip home.

Leaving in one week to be with my husband in Lebanon. We are both soooo excited. Now I'm counting the days. :-)

Oh, I love my husband so much. We talked today and he mentioned the number of days left for me to see him in Lebanon. It's just those little things that one can say that will just melt your heart. He's the best!!! Bhebak ana ktir omreeeeee.

Thank you. I just read your fiance is in AP status. What was the reason? I totally agree with you. Middle eastern men are being discriminated against and it's quite frustrating. Something has to be done about this. I hope your fiance won't be too long in AP status. I sent you a pm...good luck to you and keep your spirits up.

Salam - just wanted to wish you the very best on your visa journey. My husband is from Lebanon and we are anxiously waiting. I will be going to Lebanon in November to spend some time with him as we wait. :-)

Sooooo happy to be with my husband. No words can express how wonderful it is to wake up each morning with my hubby by my side. Best days of my life!!

Spent almost 3 hours today talking and seeing my husband on MSN. I wanted to go through the webcam and just give him a huge hug and a kiss. As each day passes, I miss him more and more.Thank you God for bringing us together.

We were given two hands to hold, two legs to walk, two eyes to see, and two ears to listen. But why do we only have one heart? Because the other was given to the love of my life. Bhebak ana ktir omre. Many kissess as today is our 3rd month wedding anniversary.

I'm wondering if the K1 process is totally different than yours, because I'm so confused about the things you mentioned here. I filed the first week of Feb, and just waited (I checked our status daily on the USCIS website), and then one day in the first week of July, I believe, USCIS sent us our approval notice... and then, we had an interview the very next month. I never knew about any estimated time frames, etc... and never got word that anything was moved, so I'm lost here. No...
