    Embassy respoded to my email today and said the visa was under consular officer's review, then the visa will be issued. Got the same response 5 days ago. Anybody know how long consular officer's review typically takes? Any help or info would be greatly appreciated!

    Embassy respoded to my email today and said the visa was under consular officer's review, then the visa will be issued. Got the same response 5 days ago. Anybody know how long consular officer's review typically takes? Any help or info would be greatly appreciated!

      I got the same email as you did and a week later we had the visa...so maybe they are at the end of checking everything. Good luck and i hope he will have it soon....take care and god bless :)

      Hi :) Thanks!! Well i think the embassy here tends to tell everybody at the interview that they will get the visa in 7-10 days. The CO told us it would take 3 weeks maybe a little more. It took us from the interview to actaully getting it 34 days...but it was issued in 23 days. It took them over a week to send it out. And, i think there are different reasons for how long it takes..like if your husband has a common name..since they do more security on people from MENA countries. I got ...
