He hates it here and hasn't been able to find a job anywhere.,.... He will stay with me until I'm ready to move with him to DR

what I like about NY is NOT just cause I was born and rise there is although the cost of living is much higher, But the paid is more or less high just as the state you live in. I like the face that in Manhattan there is always some type of job for a man or women and they are always looks for someone to do something. I say shop around of course try it out for a weekender or book interview and see how it plays of. If not as you state he has his papers so he is free to come and go as he pleases.

Miami is a large place and much like city life. It's also very warm and tropical. In the South, work may be more abundant for you and your husband. We're in Alabama and absolutely love it. Work is plentiful here with construction around the University of Alabama and area affected by the Tornado two years ago. Wishing you both the very best and many blessings where ever you decided to rest your head.

Received his SS last week but we are still waiting for his GC

Well the Welcome letter finally came in yesterday, hopefully the GC will follow.... we also went to the SS office today and it only took 30 minutes and we were done.

At his POE they only took his papers and said to him that his tatoos were nice and good luck with your new life in the states
he was only upset that one of his Whiskies broke when he picked up his suitcase;( lol -
POE was great... Now the wait for his papers.... my sweetie pie i cant get enough of him

He just got the call to go pick up his passport and POE package since we opted for that option as it seemed quicker:) 3rd business day later, he are both super happy....

Yes, The interview area for what seemed to be for K visas and IR/CR1 visas were in enclosed areas from the rest of the public but the only thing seperating you from the interview taking place next to you is a thin half wall coming from the top. You see the Consul sitting down a bit higher than you with a plastic/glass window between you. They are speaking through a speaker system to you like if you were in a bank here in the states.

Just checked the interview list on the DR embassy website and saw our case # on there
I am so happy the day is fast approaching.... -
We are both very excited. I have all the evidence already organized from when i sent in my petition and visa application and I will print out more Skype messages once i'm closer to the date. He is getting his physical done on Friday the 10th two weeks before the interview. I plan on getting there the night before but will only stay for a couple of days since I have to come back to work.
