yeah i got my case number after one month.

do you have YM? They say it's better to have your medical 1 week before "that time of the month" for women. IDK how true that is... but who knows?!

I'm gonna start paying and getting my medical in about 2 or 3 weeks time. I'm sure if you got to the NBI early and found someone nice to speak to...and showed them the appointment letter someone can try to help you out... i think this system is really bad for OFW's and people trying to get a visa.

make sure aug 20... kasi it's by working days... not days lang.

yeah... I was told the the one in taft is a one day deal but... you have to line up as early as 2am for a number... that's just crazy. I am not in too much of a rush, my fiance is in Navy...Sept 8 is when my damn NBI should be done... if not I'm gonna tell them i am a visa applicant with the USE.

To be honest, I'm not sure... But I want to call the embassy and inquire.but from previous experience I have not been able to talk to an actual human!

No package from MNL USE yet. but I am still waiting for the NBI. thinking about going next week to see if i can speed the process up! IT'S RIDICULOUS, the new system is so backwards!

Called the NVC this evening... My case has left for manila "yesterday" this is wonderful. I am really enjoy my bridal shower later today!

Thanks Scott! I'll call them soon! you've made me feel much better about the situation.. not stressing about it too much right now... getting the required documents as a Euro-Asian seems to be a bit more expensive in the Philippines!
