  1. USA embassy in Cairo is just sucks they keep people on waiting and waiting to make them frustrating and when you email or call they just give you the same stupid standard answer

IT'S NOT FAIR TO LET ANOTHER PERSON CONTROL IN YOUR LIFE AND THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT THE FREEDOM AND THE HUMAN RIGHTS!!!

there are 95% got approve for there visa and the other 5% not!

this not mean the US embassy in Cairo they are very bad!

  2. Hello AQ, and Welcome to VJ! There are plenty of great people here to help you with your journey, which ever way you decide to go.

I got my husband here through the CR1 visa. We had all ready planned to get married when I was over there. If you should decide to go that way, make sure you have your divorce decree from your previous marriage. I went as far as getting it certified at the state and the government level before I traveled to Cairo. Once I got back to the US I started the paperwork to get my husband here. Monetary wise, it is cheaper to bring your husband over than to bring a fiance. CR1 you pay for basically upfront before you bring your husband here. Also, your husband will get his conditional green card and social security number and is able to work more quickly than with a K1 visa. If you choose K1 visa, you apply for an adjustment of status once they get here and then pay for it.

As far as AP or AR goes, well I don't know what triggers it, but it can and does happen with both kinds of visas.

Good luck with which ever path you want to go!

i think good idea to go with CR1 visa

btw! dont forget to have the last 3yrs Tax's to prove income

Dude, I really really REALLY dont know what your problem is that you have to write on every topic that the US Embassy in Cairo sucks. Be cautious what you say about them bcz some CO's read VJ. They have a job to do and I think they do a darn good job for what they have to do! Stop pouting and fussing and going on nearly every old and new topic writing about how you dislike the Embassy. Everyone one of us on here have been through or are going through the visa process. It takes time. Deal with it!

    I agree

  4. Hi, guys. I`m back after almost two years of my visa journey. Last Tuesday I sent my I-751 Packet and just check few minutes ago from USPS via Tracking/Confirmation, so happy they received my packet already. How many days do I have to wait for my NOA 1? and what is the chance I will not be having interview? Thank you, just want to hear any idea from you guys.~ Have a good one!

    Welcome back :)

I think it will be after week or 10 day's (cross your finger ) good luck, and i think you send good Evidence, hope you not have interview, i got my GC 10y after interview, it was good.

    Again GOOD LUCK

  5. Congrats!!!

    Thanks :)

    Congrats!

Maybe give them a call in a few days. The GCs are sent priority and the approval letters are first class.

First class from VT to PA when they've mailed in the past has taken 5 days in that short distance.

Unsure how CSC works, but the same idea applies regarding first class being just a little slower.

oh thanks, i'll give them call maybe tomorrow

    Congratulations! Your worries are over.
