i think the reason is though we have annulment here in our country, most of the Filipino so called conservative citizens and the church is against annulment to add the big amount involved with annulment (i payed mine 200 thousand pesos) so few couples can afford it especially few years ago...though lots are undergoin annulment now, its being a trend (hehehe)...I think it is still not as common as divorce in other countries...and so the court is treating it like a special case to look and investigate upon thoroughly, so it is taking too long (but mind you..it can go faster so long as you have the money to make it move faster --bribe---besides the money you payed your attorney...What can i say? Anything goes in the Philippines...

Your welcome, glad to help. It is always so complicated ha ha. What your saying sounds about right, from what I remember the Finality you want is after registrar notation. But later when Augie is on she can explain better than me. And yeah everything comes with a fee but he should give you your papers with no charge, they owe you a final copy of everything. i filed May 2010 and got the decision Feb. 21, 2011

When my girls anullment was finished she had to take it in person to the registrar for annotation then send back to the court within 30 days. Then she got her copies from the attorney. Then we got her Cenomar and marriage certificate with the anullment annotation. It is common there for the court clerk to sign most of that so make sure you have a Finality Decree that is signed by the judge. the first two papers we got were only signed by the clerk and I felt we would get an RFE. At NSO we had an employee there help us list maiden and married name as the NBI should include any names or nicknames. Thanks so much for that....so nice of you to help...In my case, i had a contract with my attorney as package...meaning he will do everything and i will just have to pay the necessary fee that he asked (w/c by the way is a big amount). So just waiting for everything and once done...he just gave me the Decision from the REgional Trial Court and Marriage Certificate w/ annotation from NSO (means i have 2) and missing 2 more Annulment Decree and Certificate of Finality...AM I CORRECT ON THAT? Hi! Done with my interview and I submitted marriage certificate together with certified true copy of annulment decree, finality and decision. I still don't have my visa because they are verifying my documents. I guess they are verifying even my annulment papers. When is your interview?

where did you got all these certificates? from Local Civil REgistry? if yes, where is Local Civil REgistry? and how many days before they release if i request this certificates? would it take me weeks? thanks..hoping for your reply

The Finality of annulment is included inn the annulment packet that court gives you. That's together with the Decision, annulment decree and certificate of finality.

We are still waiting on NOA-2..We were able in the Summer to spend alot of time together and now with his career its hit or miss..we get a few days next week and a few days when they are in Toronto at end of month but its extremely hard on the kids...Plus they are missing a lot of school so we can spend time as a family..When we got engaged last Xmas it was hopefully by start of school, then it was Xmas holidays, now who knows....We dont fight alot we just dont have time to talk anymore...

Oh so i got that wrong about arguments...sorry for that...well, i do understand and empathize since the last time i've seen my fiance is last February this year, i do understand the missin' each other...since you have said the reasons why you can't communicate as much...i guess you will just have to increase your understanding on your situation...and you know what? once you received NOA2...everything moves bit faster...so hang in there, smile and cheer up...just remember everything has its perfect timing...and prayer does help

Oh I am sorry, I was looking at the old version, We need the one with the barcode..sorry. Just say "single (never married)" because. Divorce doesn't apply to you, separated are just for legally separated but not allowed to marry, anyway.

Hang in there...my fiance and i had lots of arguments too...simply because we were both getting frustrated, small things irritate us whenever we talk about waiting for the fiance visa process (almost broke up) but realizing that we can't do anything about it...since i dont want to marry anyone else but him and him not wanting to marry anyone else but me..so we ended up dealing with it and taking it day by day, trying to be busy did helped, i went too for vacation with friends here in my country and he did the same thing, went for the beach with his son and friends...we went away the same week...by the time we came home, he received notice from NVC that our papers are sent to my county's embassy...now we are almost at the finish line Realizing that love is patience and love endures all things

If we are looking at the same DS156 it is not asked, those questions are from DS230, you don't need it.

DS156 and DS156k are the ones that has something " Do not write below this line"

You must be talking about DS230. According to those who have been interviewed, it is not needed.

You just need DS 156, DS 156K, DS 157.

Just explain your previous marriage on the DS 156 and 156K. You can't provide a CENOMAR since you are "previously married" so a different certification from NSO, I forgot how it's exactly called, Certification of nullity of Marriage????

hi, i am now filling out forms and preparing documents for my interview..i happen to notice tha t some annulled beneficiary stated in their post that the consulate asked for the FINALITY OF ANNULMENT...i want to know where possibly they gotit from? cause i have my Marriage Cert. w/ Annotations that stated that my marriage is already null and void and also the decision of the court but the finality, i dont since remembering, i have heard this from my attorney while my annulment was granted by the Philippine court, he will have to pass the finality to the Civil Registry so that the Civil Registry would send a notice to the NSO that my marriage was declared null and void...so i believe my finality was submitted in the Civil Registry, now, i dont know where to get it from? do i get the finality from the Civil Registry or from my attorney? and for VJ members that is done with their papers...did you ticked on DS 156 form 'single' (never married) (as this is the only option i could select). And filled out the former husband's name box and his birthdate...

If you will put divorce, you have to produce a divorce decree.

In this case, instead of providing CENOMAR, you need a Marriage Certificate with annotations from NSO and the decision and finality of the annulment.

Once your annulled and is final it is as if the marriage never existed... meaning Single...

your right about that...i am annulled too and i will tick "single (never married)" this is the difference with divorce...annullment or annulled marriages never existed at all...

got vaccination report from local health center....

i requested that the certification be as complete (data) as possible...

like the dates administered, what kind of immunization, lot number, complete name - suggest with middle name, with my complete birthdate, and signed by the head nurse and certified by the head of the local health center.....

when i had my immunization interview at st lukes, it was easy for them to figure out what i need and they administered it..... remember that there are vaccinations or immunizations that require double dose...... i did mine in a timely manner..... but the kind of vaccination st lukes require vary - depends upon age, exposure, etc.....

suggest you get yours as specific as possible just to be prepared....

Hi...i would just like to ask if someone had gone to their local health center and asked for a certification of their vaccination records? I have read in one of the post that her certification w/c she got from the local health health center was denied since it wasn't stated in her certificate the dates of her vaccinations, BUT I have also seen one post in YouTube that she had her certificate from the local health center without the vaccination information...like what kind of vaccine w/ date on it...what was indicated was that the local health center was certifying the fact that she was fully immunized..nothing more...hope someone who have done this certification thing could share what they did and their experience during the immunization interview...so i could basically know what i could request from the local health center what to put in my certification of immunity. We got ours almost after 4 months since we filed...May 2 (I129F-sent) Aug. 31 (NOA2)...2 more days and it will be exactly 4 months since we sent our file. Hello visajourneyers! I am currently waiting for NOA2. I just want to ask about vaccination. I'm sure I had a vaccination when i was a little girl but I didnt have any vaccination for anything since then. I seldom get sick. I actually read about having a vaccine which is more of bad side effects later in life. Just for example the hepa B vaccine that contains chemicals aluminum hydroxide and thimerosal. Aluminum is a metal that is injected in our body. Does it sound right? It's scary! It is also very dangerous to anyone who plans to have a baby because it can cause brain damage to the baby and many more. How can I apply for waiver for this vaccine or any vaccine? I am not into modern medicine and I'm more into natural medicine. Any advice?

I TOO AM A BELIEVER THAT THESE VACCINES ARE NOT REALLY HEALTHY...I'VE READ ALOT OF STUFF ABOUT THESE VACCINES AND THEY ARE SURE SCARY

maybe you could try going to the clinic and explaining your case and having them fill out s record for you. sometimes a little money goes a long way too. there is also an option to show you are morally or religiously against vaccines but i've heard it's an expensive and long process. some people do this because they use aborted fetuses in the vaccines so it is easy to say you have a moral or religious problem with them. there are many other problems with them but that is an easy reason to refuse. just not sure the US government cares too much about immigrants' morals.

I dont get why your daughter 12 yo has no record. My son who is 13 yo do have records I bring along at the Health Center whenever he is scheduled for a vaccination. Plus, The Center do keep record even if you lose your copy. Why not go there and secure that. Of course, US would want to be sure that everyone going to the country are safe from any contagious disease. Just merely saying we got the vaccination from before is not sufficient evidence to prove the veracity what we say. There should always be a material evidence to support our fact.
