  1. you do NOT need vaccines again (if you had them done in Mexico already). The trick is finding a civil surgeon that knows what to do. Most insist you need vaccines, etc again, thats BS, they just want more $. I called up civil surgeons near me and found one, should be around $60. Bring all your info, medical records, etc.

  2. Yes, my lawyer said technically you can get SS# but it might be a hassle and you are changing your name. Just wait for your AP/EAD card, it will come fast (a little over a month) after filing for AOS. Once you get SS# card then apply for driver's license. For now just use your passport w/ K-1 & i94 :)

  19. Congrats! Good news is now the US Embassy in Juarez worked out their changes & it should be easy and smooth by the time of your appointment. You are close, everything goes by faster from here on out!!!

  21. wow, unbelievable. You should threaten a lawsuit. Handle it on your own, ask other people that are IR-1/CR-1 visas. Good luck!

  22. YOU NEED A NEW LAWYER! I saw 2 posts from you. This process is not THAT complicated. You need a lawyer that knows what he/she is doing.
