When you see that the package sent after you got your mnl has arrived then call embassy. They will ask if you have a letter of eligibility. Say yes. make your appointment. You're good to go. Good luck.

It is a tricky process. My friend gave me a tip his girl is in the usa already. Saved 2 weeks. Call NVC they will tell you when they have sent your package and give you a mnl number. Looks like we are on the same time line. What city is your girl traveling to in the US? Maybe they will meet on the plane. We're hoping for a flight to New York in early Oct.

They requested a passport photo of me. Thing is I sent it with the I-129f package. I think I forgot to put my name on the back of the photos. Easy thing to miss.

Maybe your well wishes paid off. I finally heard something. Not what I wanted though. We got an RFE for a passport photo. I think I forgot to put my name on my photo. That's all it takes to get a snag. Well at least things are moving. You will probably be approved before me.

How's things moving along there? I didn't see anything on your timeline. I just got my RFE. Not really good news but at least something is happening.

Yeah I'm kind of happy about that. From looking at other RFEs I'm hoping that we'll be at the NOA2 stage in 2 weeks. What I'm really wondering is what's up with you guys. You've been waiting longer than me and haven't heard a thing. Hope you get good news this week.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhh Whiiiiiiiiiine....I knew I had a reason to complain. I got a RFE today. I know I put the passport photos in the envelope but they are saying that they need 2 passport photos of me with my name on back. Good lord I send enough pictures to sink a ship. I might have forgotten to write my name on back. Awwwwwwwwwwwwww

Thanks for welcoming us. Another week passes by and it looks like well over a third of the march filers are already approved. It figures we'd end up on the end of the line. We're staying patient though. We did get a letter though. Just a reminder that we are being processed and we'll hear something in 30 to 60 days. Aaaargh.....
