When entering village name in "City" field for birthplace, do we need to mention that it is a village. For Example---- Village: Maloa or just enter "Maloa".

How long does it take to for IV fee status from In process to paid ? I paid fee and it is still in process.

Scan date will be today's date. You will receive an email from NVC within 2 or 3 days with today's scan date.

I received email on friday. So three days include weekend ?

Yes I tried in four different browsers - Chrome, IE, Firefox and Safari. See the same "total amount selected: $0.00" for IV. Unable to pay online.

I received IV invoice email on friday. I am still not able to pay IV fee. Total amount selected "$0.00". Does anyone know why this is happening ?

Are you able to pay IV fee ? Did you check with NVC why you are not able to pay yet ?

this one is fine to use you should be ok. A lot of people do this because they don't want to wait for the welcome letter to come.

No need to send the document cover sheet alone :-) Just the BARCODE sheet is sufficient.

I am worried that NVC do not send checklist just because the documents are missing "Document cover sheet that comes with NVC Welcome letter with Enclosed, Unavailable, Not Applicable options". It is mentioned on the page "Pleas put this document on top of your documents when you send them to us".

I have added the BARCODE sheet that we can print after paying the AOS fee.

I sent AOS and Civil documents and the documents reached NVC.

Thereafter, I received NVC welcome letter which has document cover sheet with Available, Not Available, Not Applicable options.

Yes if it is not paid or the ds260 is not filled out before they review your documents you will get a checklist but I'm EP so my documents won't get looked at till at least the 60 days.

Did you receive email from NVC when DS-261 was reviewed ? The email should state who is appointed as an agent.

been a week since I got my ds261 reviewed I'm worried I'm going to end up in the same boat nothing yet for me either .

I am only adding my spouse I-864A because of married filing joint. My income is well above poverty guideline. So is it ok to put $0.00 in spouse's Current Individual annual income ? (spouse only income is from bank interest)

Thank you for response. It is difficult to predict that the interest income will remain the same this year. It can be less or slightly more than 2014 interest income.

I did not receive any response so I am posting back. I need help filling up I-864A along with I-864:

My spouse is not working and only income is from bank interest. We file taxes as Married Filing Joint.

While filling up, I-864, I entered my income in Current annual income. Under, income you are using from any other person who was counted in your household size part, I entered my Spouse name and entered the bank interest income (from last years) in Current annual income.

My spouse filled up I-864A because we file taxes jointly. In I-864A, "Unemployed" is selected and bank interest income (from previous year) is entered in "My current individual annual income"

My question is: Is entering previous years bank interest income in Current individual annual income ok or not ? or Should we enter "0" instead of bank interest income in Current individual annual income.

Will there be any issues ?

If I send IV package with AOS package before NVC invoice IV fee - will it generate the checklist that IV fees not yet paid?

Do we need to send DS-260 confirmation page to NVC ?

I am in confusion whether to send AOS (I-864 and supporting) and IV package documents together or send them separately ?

I know that once AOS fee status changes to "PAID", I can print the barcode sheet and send AOS package.

What if IV fee is not invoiced ?? Is it advisable to wait till IV fee is paid and then print IV barcode sheet and then send both - AOS and IV Package. ???

Also if we can send AOS and IV package together (before IV is invoiced) which address the package should be sent ?
