      @Sweetie811. We waited nearly 6 months for our NOA2 also. Melinda has been a saint lately. Holding strong when it didn't look like things were going their way. But Melinda and Bayram are made for each other. Can't wait to see the happy reunion photos!

    Hi! I received a letter in the mail yesterday (dated Nov 10, 2011)stating that the packet should be arriving in Ankara within a week!....So...that means it's arrived already! So excited :))

    Received the hardcopy of our NOA2 in the mail this morning!! I do have a question: the notice states that it is valid from 10/24/2011 until 2/23/2012. Does that mean my Bayram will be here BEFORE the end of February? Or, Does it mean he will have his interview before that date?...and I had hoped for more information regarding what the next steps are for me...it's all my brain can think about!

      Hey Melinda. You need to get all the orginal paperwork you sent with your petition to him, your 134, and any further evidence to him. He has some things to get. I can email them to you if you would like. Our interview was after our expiration date and they will extend that date if needed.

      but if you get all this to Bayram ASAP and he gets his things together and send them to the embassy you can get your interview date sooner. The longer you wait to get this info to Embassy the longer the interview can be. Ankara embassy at the moment is very behind due to holidays. But email me if you need any info!

      But you do have to wait for the NVC to process everything and send to ANkara you need that NVC number to get the interview!

    my estimated adjudication date was sept 17-29, 2011. this time has gone and past and i haven't heard anything from USCIS. Technically, 5 months would be coming in November. Should I be worried? Seems like the VJ estimated date was quite soon anyways. I just don't want to worry.

      No don't worry! they have extended the the wait time alittle. You will get your NOA2..Its tough when they put the estimated timelines passs. that happened to me too, but that NOA2 will come. It will not help to call USCIS till almost 6 months. THis time of year they slow down:( but it will come!!

      Thanks for the information! These months are getting harder and harder to get through. I just keep telling myself we're nearing the finish line soon. A few more months to wait for a lifetime of happiness.

    I happened to check the USCIS website last night to look at our status and the date was updated! At least I know someone is looking at our petition!
