  1. Congratulations on you NOA-2.Our petition took about 2 weeks to get into the embassy system. If this is for a K-1 visa this is what we did after our NOA2:

You can bring your passport and a copy of the passport Bio pages (the pic and printed info on the 1st pages) to BPI and pay for the visa interview now, about 16,900 pesos. This can be done anytime. You might want to know your MNL number in case they ask for it. They usually don't. .We call the NVC and got the MNL number 603-334-0700 before the petition was actually sent to the embassy. They were very nice. The petitioner will recieved an NVC letter with MNL number on it also in about -2 weeks.

To schedule online embassy appointment "prettyjan" posted this and it is very accurate You cannot schedule online for at least 4 hours after you gte your receipt so it can get in the system:

Be sure to have the beneficiary's passport number and the place of issue and the date of issue and expiration date handy before you start.

    1. Go to this website: http://www.ustraveldocs.com//

    2. Select the Philippines for the Country pull-down menu.

    3. Do not go to the non-immigrant section. Instead, go to the "Immigrant Visas" section and click on "Applying for an Immigration Visa Appointment".

    4. From the Immigrant Visa Appointment page, do not click on "Schedule an Appointment". Instead, look further down and click on "K-Visa Appointment Scheduling".

    5. From this page, you enter your passport number, case number, payment date, birthdate, and create a password.

    6. The next page asks for passport issuance date and experiation date. It also asks for the address to send your passport to after receiving visa. You need to know City, State/Province, and ZIPCODE.

    7. After entering the required info, your name goes to a list and your asked if you want to add another applicant. If including a child with K2, select yes.

    8. Go through the same process again entering in the information for the child.

    9. Here's the tricky part. If something goes wrong and you exit the site but you haven't created the schedule yet, you can't start over again the same way. After the payment date with passport number has been used once, you can't use it again. Instead, you have to go back to the "Applying for an Immigration Visa Appointment" page again. This time you do select the "Schedule an Appointment" link and not the "K-Visa Appointment Scheduling" link. From here, you can re-enter the beneficieries info and add other applicants for the K2 children.

    10. After all applicants are entered, you select them all with the check boxes, and select to set an appointment. Make sure all applicants are selected.

    11. Now you just select the date you want and the time. It sets all applicants the same.

    12. Last, you can download a PDF file for the appointment letters for each applicant.it.

St Lukes is walk in, You can go any time prior to the embassy interview and cost is about 9100 pesos. You can preregister online http://www.slec.ph/home.shtml it helps a little when you get there. You'll need:

    Valid passport

Copy of bio pages of passport

    Two 2x2 visa photos

    Copy of NOA2

Copy of NVC letter sent to petioner that your petition is being sent to Manila (Petitioner should get that soon)

Casa Bocobo is one hotel very near the embassy. It costs about 1000 pesos a night but my fiancee said it was good and very convenient. Just a suggestion.

In the meantime petitioner can get the I-134 ready and organise what you will need for the interview. This is what we did: http://travel.state.gov/visa/visa_1750.html

This is what we did June 22 2011:

    Passport

    Appointment letter

    NOA 2 copy

Eligible letter copy ( did not actually take this)

    visa photos

    DS-156 non-immigrant visa application 2 copies

    DS-157 Supplemental non-immigrant visa application 2 copies

DS 156K non-immigrant fiancee visa application

    BPI reciept

    NBI

    CENOMAR

    NSO Birth Certificate

    St. Lukes receipt

    My divorce papers

    I-134 Affidavit of Support

    W-2, letter from bank

ITR (Income Tax Return Transcripts) 2007,2008,2009 and 2010 copy of turbo tax because transcript not available

    Employment Letter

most recent visit info, ongoing relationship info, flower receipts, xoom receipts, photos, chats, copy of my passport stamped for my most recent visit ( they actually only looked at one picture)

New letter of intent ( did not look at)

Evidence of engagement ring and receipt (they actually only acknowledged that she had a ring)

Beneficiary also brought a complete copy of the original K-1 petition which was not referred to. I also reviewed the embassy on the review forum and myself and others included some of the questions asked of the benficiary.

Don't forget the CFO which is about 250 pesos for the seminar and about 450 for the "stamp" on the visa when you get it. This can be done while in Manila or Cebu. Need passport (if you do thid before the embassy interview) and copy of passport bio pages, copy of any divorce records They also asked for a pic of us together

    Good Luck and Aloha......................Paul

thank you for this lengthy response, i have learned a lot of ideas from this one..follow up question please, where can we get this I-134 affidavit of support? hope you'll find time to answer my query.. again, thank you so much.

  2. hi everyone:) just asking for those who got rfe'd, how long did you wait for your noa2? my rfe is my fiance's g-325a and we sent his first divorced decree even if it's not included on the rfe coz they forgot:) pls share your ideas..tnx

    [/quote

mine was processed in VSC and it took 12 days from the time they received our response up to the time it was approved =) i heard CSV is way faster than VSC...good luck =)

  3. From what I've read from other VJ members, as soon as you have your Manila Case #, you can get your medical exam done & go to BPI and pay the $350.00 Visa fee. Have your fiance(e) scan and email you a copy of the NOA2. Once you've paid the Visa fee, you wait 24 hrs and then schedule an interview online.

Here is a good post from another member on how to schedule online: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/312942-how-to-schedule-your-k1-visa-online/

We got approved 6/24/2011, so, we're right behind you. Good luck!

thanks for this info =) i'm from davao, maybe we'll have same interview date, who knows...it's good to know you here in VJ =)

  4. hi, i would like to share my case here regarding photos also, we received a request for evidence (that is form G325A for the petitioner & beneficiary) my fiance forgot to submit it together with form I-129F, however he submitted a passport size photos(2pcs) already, now, my question is, do we still need to include a passport size photo together with form G325A? fyi, we haven't submitted the form yet. please help us =) thanks a lot.

  5. I just received my RFE in the mail and they only ask me to submit a G 325 form for my fiance and send 2 photos of me...When i sent my packet i only sent my birth certificate and my passport and the applications....

My question is should i send a letter of intent, my fiance's photo...which will take two weeks...and other proof of meeting even though they didnt ask for it?

    thank you

We have the same RFE, my fiance forgot to include the form G325A when he submitted the petition paper I129F..

  6. it should be original signature!just send it through lbc it took only 4 days.we got rfe too in april coz of the letter of intent and it should be original signature also.and thats what i did,i mailed it thru LBC.

Thanks, you mentioned it took 4 days thru LBC, i would like to ask what state did you send it to? Or i guess they just have the same timing i suppose =)

  7. we got a "RFE" because my fiance forgot to submit the form G325A together with the form I129f..lol....now, my question is, on the part of Applicant's signature, does it have to be an original copy of my signature? or is it okay if i'll send it thru scanned copy of fax it to my fiance, because the RFE have a due date, and it would take so long if i'll send the original copy thru mail (post office) btw, im from philippines. please tell me how did you submit your G325A too...thanks a lot.

  8. My fiance filed for I129F last Dec3 and was received and routed to VSC on Dec6, got the NOA1 on Dec10, and last May6 status changed to RFE as i checked online, last May9 my fiance received the mailed RFE and is still on the process of answering all the questions of VSC, btw, there were 5 pages to be filled in...maybe next week my fiance will submit it back to VSC...we'll see. Goodluck to us!

  9. me too,we received rfe! and i dont understnad why csc is way faster than vsc to adjudicate the rfe,in vsc they said it will take 60days to get a result while in csc its just days or less than a week,i feel like im waiting forever, nakakbwiset na!

May i know what documents they requested for evidence in your case? Oh, im sad to know about VSC...guess we'll just have to wait..

  10. Yes that is normal as they found lacking to your documents.,, Look at my timeline.. we filed Sept.15 and got NOA1 sept.. 22 and we got RFE April 6.. imagine how frustrating is that for 6 1/2 months you receive that RFE.. anyway we send them what they asking for and now patiently waiting for the approval hope it will come soon.. dont worry.. and hang in there.. it will be approved as soon as you reply back to them..Good luck to us..

Oh thank you for this post, i guess i just worried too much, i'm anxious to know what evidence they are asking from my fiance, by the way, we didn't know yet what they are asking since it was mailed last May6, so probably on monday (may9) he will receive it, or anytime this week. On your case, i hope and pray that everything will turn out well. Good luck to us indeed!

  11. Hi. I had an RFE too for the same thng. My SO is not from the Philippines however they should list on the RFE what they need from you. Mine they had just listed a copy of one of our passports with the stamps in there to show that one of us had been in the other's country. I sent that in no problems. But also a copy of either of you or your SO boarding pass when you went to me other one is also a good example of primary /initial evidence. May I ask what you did send in for evidence?

Thank you for your post, gives me idea not to worry too much. I didn't know yet what they are asking to submit, it was mailed last May 6 (Vermont Service Center) and my fiance lives in Texas, so probably he will receive the RFE mail by monday.
