  1. Did you get any results from checking online with the link I posted in your other thread on the same topic? Saves an expensive per minute phone call to the embassy http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/425784-london-embassy/page__p__6166947__fromsearch__1#entry6166947

Hi Nick!!! Thank you so much for your reply! I Completely forgot I posted it earlier. I m just so stressed out about it. I did check the link you posted. I almost got an heart attack cuz it says refused. So I called DOS and they said it says refused cuz my visa was denied at the interview stage, before my waiver was approved. The lady said the embassy received my passport and updated medical + police report , and the embassy is checking all the documents. She said not to worry about the "refused" cuz it will change as soon my visa is printed :-) She said they going through all my docs and as soon they done will issue my visa and send passport back. She said she has no idea how long it will take cuz London works diferent then DOS, I am just going mental cuz its been 11 days now and nothing:(( I called 09 number and found out NOTHING , spent like 20 pounds to call them, DX , so I really appreciate your link, will be checking it from now on ....Thank you! The embassy said it might take 15 or even 20 days ... but I never ever seen anybody waiting for such a long time. I am really stressed out!:(

  2. Hi guys! I am sure many people ask about it before but i want o check whats the situation recently ... My waiver was approved in march , and embassy asked me to update my medical, police certificate and asked me to send them my passport, which I did already 11days ago. Till today I haven't heard from them. How long does it take for them to stamp visa and send it back. I tried calling embassy, but they are no help at all, saying it might take up to 15days. Whats your experience? Is there anybody in similar situation? Regards,

  3. Hi there,

I was requested to send my passport to the embassy for the visa issuance. Been 10days and I didnt get my passport back yet. Tried calling embassy, currier company and no help at all.

Does anybody know how to find out how long does it take to get the passport back??? regards,

  4. Thanks Nich - Nick!!!!appreciate that!

London should notify you when they are ready to issue the visa. You contact DX Secure courier and basically pay for a round trip ticket for your passport. They collect it from your home (or work) and deliver to the embassy. The visa is put inside the passport. DX Secure delivers the passport back to you. Here's the courier page with fees http://www.thedx.co.uk/customerservice/dxservicesusembassy/visacollections/

You might want to call DOS in the US to see if they have any indication that London has sent your notice. Then you could proceed because you know they are ready. Or wait a couple of weeks and call the embassy. They may still have the waiver approval in a pile and haven't gotten to you yet, so don't courier before they are ready.

    DOS 202-663-1225 press 1, then 0

Your USC spouse can call too.

  5. Not at all. There is no option for a co-sponsor. To move to US as a two person family requires an income of approximately £12,000, not £18,600. In the US there is no option to bypass the system if their partner is a European national. The instructions on this are also terribly written, UKBA has a thing or two to learn from USCIS.

Hi there, do you know where I can find some proof that the UK doesn't have co-sponsor program ?

    best!

  6. I'm not in the UK - I'm in Canada - and it's been 6 months, 5 days for us. We're starting to make an alternate game plan for "just in case", because no news is NOT good news.

no news its better then bad news:) hopefully we will get the noa's soon!

What i recommend is to call USCIS and follow up. And also the california service center is a little bit behind on the papers. Dont worry relax everything will be fine.

its very hard to relax... :)

  7. Hey there... I was just wondering if there is anybody from the UK who filed theirs I-130 in Aug and its still waiting for theirs NOA2?? Or its only me left?

Been 6 months for me and I am tripping already....:((( :crying:
