    Hey..hi..how is your process in sd embassy going? I was approved by USCIS July 1st and wonder about case number and interview date... I see you have an interview date... any chance for me to beat August 6 for an interview? Is august 2nd ur date? Sorrrry but i got to ask... so many sleepless nights

      call NVC and ask them for your number and an explanation for the two letters.

      there is no such thing as pkt 3. U do get something is pkt 4. but u get it like 2 wks after ur interview date has been given to you.

      its suppose to be 10 working days or 2 weeks after u rcvd the hard copy of ur noa2 ,

    My sister and her brother are getting married August 6th and I wish she can make it to through the process so she can be at the wedding... approved July 1st, do we have a chance? i wanna know the interview date already.

      Highly doubt it. It takes around 2 weeks for the packet to arrive at the embassy. :S

      and the interview is usually approx almost 3 months after the approval...you could be looking at sept or early october

    I felt jealous for a lot of people... please be patient is is hard... but your day is coming... each day is one closer... dont go crazy... i went crazy... when u get it... you will feel instant hapinesss its so special... be strong...

      Hola compatriota...apenas bvoy a empezar el proceso pero dicen ke el correo alla esta mejor pero segun e leido creo ke te mandan a ti una copia y usualmente cosas del consulado las mandan directo con un mensajero a la casa alla en santo. Ojala y yo no me equivoke. Buena suerte

      Gracias, es que a veces no llega a la casa. Yo voy a decirle a mi novia que haga todo excepto el examen medico y esperar a ver si llega la carta. Si no pues que pida copia en el consul pa ir a hacer el examen.

      I think this is your 7th status update about the same. "Pretending" to cancel your fiance's visa is simply mean, immature - and a big red flag for you guys. Support each other, that's why you're together, right? :)

      I agree. This process is hard and there are going to be moments in which you're gonna feel frustrated and hopeless. THIS is where you're gonna NEED each other's support. Maybe you need some time to ponderate about the meaning of being together as a couple, maybe all these doubts should make you think about the need to spend some more time together before thinking about something so big as a marriage. I really wish you both the best of luck in your journey :) God bless you

      I agree with the comments above. and I also believe if you say it , it will come true...so being patient and seeing what happens before you declare it is important. I think its good you guys are working it out. Hope to see positive coming from your status:)

    Porque se tardaron tanto con packet 3 and 4... was it the consulate or you guys? If approved this week I want her here in August not September and even less October. She has the passport and everything that does not require packet 3... Why did yours take long after NOA2?

    I called Costumer Service today and they told me petition made it past Initial Review and that last week an officer was assigned to work on it. Another 30 days said the Tier 2 agent. Can anybody tell me if it will happen before the 30 days?

      This time I complained a little and the agent said she needed to transfer to the next level...not sure if its Tier 2. Initial review they do background checks and assess the documents. It says it on the website. The only possible obstacle after such review is an RFE. Am I correct?

      I think that is just what they tell everybody because they just told me the same thing...just take it one day at a time from here and let's just hope that it's actually true but don't be too disappointed if it takes longer than 30 days.

      It seems like VSC is getting to the march filers that sent their applications off in february. Hopefully you will be hearing from them soon. Remember that hearing from them before your 5 month mark is great even if its just a week or two before.
