    Just when I thought the long wait was over....it is 10 days since my visa approval and still waiting to receive my visa, surely not much longer now!

      yeah i still haven't got mine. went to consulate today, lucky i got to talk to someone. she said my passport is in Baulkham Hills Post Office........ how can that person get it so fast?

      You have to be kidding me Suzanne this is BS well it is Friday for you there now so you should get it today if not you need to email the damm consulate ASAP and ask where the hell it is. Surely procedures have not changed that much in 2 years since I did mine.

      Really unless things have changed you should have sent in a self addressed platinum 3kg express paid envelope for them to send your visa and papers back in. They don't cover the cost of mail.

      @Georgiabound - YAY!! Do you have the medical and police check done already? If so you can send it all at once but if not send the DS-230 now. Woot! You'll be here soon!!

    Petition left NVC today. Medical appointment this afternoon. It is a good feeling now that things are moving along. No more endless waiting!

    We were June filers with Vermont. We received our NOA2 January 3rd. We had a long wait of 204 days.

    Hope you get news soon, it will happen, each day is another one closer.

    Our NOA2 is approved after 6 months, 2 weeks and 6 days. Finally the long wait is behind us.

      Grats! That's the longest part too! Good luck with the rest of your journey! Don't forget to check out the consulate reviews, they really helped me when i went through this a couple of months ago :)
