I applied for my 10 year GC renewal on 11//16/2023 (Six months before it was going to expire- May 2024).
18 months later, still processing...
Anybody else in the same boat?

I applied for my 10 year GC renewal on 11//16/2023 (Six months before it was going to expire- May 2024).
18 months later, still processing... Seems some people just got lucky.
Anybody else in the same boat?

Congratulations to all those who got approved and All the Best to people still waiting (thankfully a shrinking minority).

And the USCIS Text/email alert worked perfectly for me all through the process right from filing to approval. Instant texts and emails on status change. Don't understand why some people had issues and so didn't but definitely worth registering.
All the Best

So happy for you and everyone who got approved. And those who are still waiting, the omens are good given VSC is moving now so hang in there.

Just went to check my wife's case status on the USCIS website and here's what it says:

Congratulations Thunder_Bold
As an update, I received my card today:
The USPS reported that your new card was delivered on May 20, 2014, directly to the address we had on file.
So within a week from approval, pretty fast I would say. Interestingly it took exactly five months for ROC. I had filed the petition on 12/20/2013 and got the card on 05/20/2014. The only question now is whether to carry the card with me all the time as the accompanying letter says or carry just a copy. Would like to hear other members views on this.
Thanks for all you support during this stressful phase and wishing all the best to folks still awaiting approval.

I just got my text/email that I have been approved! Thank you so much every single person who have contributed information of any sort to this forum. You have aided me in keeping calm and maintaining at least half of my sanity. All honour and glory to God! I wish everyone still waiting positive and speedy responses!

Thanks bigapple2014, seems they were waiting for your kind words. This morning I got an email saying:
"On May 14, 2014, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283."
So it's APPROVED!
Thanks guys for all your insights and support. The 145 day long wait was indeed painful but was made much bearable by your company.
Wishing All the Best to those who are still awaiting approval.

Hope the sequence gets followed (seems early biometrics has no bearing on approval sequence)

Wow, so after May 2nd, it's has been a dry approval desert for December filers. No approvals in five days after the positive trends in April. Seems in line with the USCIS system of "Hurry-up and wait".

Mailed in package to Vermont Service Center: 12/16/13
Received NOA: 12/20/2013
Biometics taken:01/24/2014Transfer to CSC 3/14/14
Card production: 04/28/2014 -
Interesting stats:
CSC December filers approval rate: 83% (10 out of 12)
VSC December filers approval rate: 5% (1 out of 19)
VSC to CSC transfers approval rate: 33% (2 out of 6)
on the face of it VSC to CSC transfers still look much better. Fingers crossed.

Hmmm, so it seems it was a dry Monday for December filers

Hi guys is that discussion for file i751 or file another case ? I little bit confuse it, because some people posting here, some detail about their case as IR-1 CR-1, which is doesnt make any sense for who filed i751. I'm the i751 december filer, so i just want to make sure is that right discuss form for me or no ?
Thankyou
Hi Thunder_Bold, you are in the right forum, don't worry. This is for people who filed i751 for Removal of Condition in December 2013.

Hey Evoria, great news man. Many Congratulations
Seems it's finally moving for VSC transfers. Can you please clarify your NOA1 date? Your filing date is 12/12 but NOA1 date is 12/31. Why such a gap? Just trying to figure out if it's going as per filing date or NOA1 date.
Congrats again. One extra Beer on me
Enjoy

Great news EV11, Congratulations!
You are the first one to get approved among the people who got transferred to CSC. Hope you are the indications of the things to come.
In fact both of us were transferred the same day (03/14) though I filed three days later than you and my NOA1 date is five days later than you. (12/24). Hope they follow the same timeline for me as well,
Congrats again.

Thanks @appleblossom. I checked online and it says I can submit an inquiry after June 21, 2025. Don't know what that means? Makes me very anxious, given they haven't asked for any additional documents or anything so far.
"Your case is processing normally.
The earliest you can submit questions is June 21, 2025. Please do not contact us before this date.
We will notify you if we need any additional information. We appreciate your patience while we review your case. Processing times may change – return to this page regularly for updates."
it's been 18 months and USCIS says "your case is processing normally"
