Age is no barrier. I am 63 my partner is 70, we have known each other for 35 years and for 32 of those years he was married to a lovely lady who was also a very good friend. After she passed away 3 yrs ago he paid a visit to me and a relationship was formed. We are both young for our age and intend to enjoy the rest of our lives together.
