My fiancee and I have a couple of options for a co-sponsor for the affadavit of support. One of them is her Grandmother who whilst not working, has an income above that of what is needed from a retirement fund. Would this be accepted as valid income????

Hi, I am a UK citizen and will be marrying my USC fiancee this Summer. The plan will then be to go through the CR-1 process as soon as possible after this. Now, my fiancee is a student in the US and will be for the next couple of years and during the application process she is going to be studying abroad in Spain for a year. This leads to my worry. Her grandpa has said that he will act as a co sponsor and he earns enough money for all of us, but my fiancee will have spent almost a year abroad and won't have a job back home. Is this likely to pose a problem in terms of domicile or for the Affadavit of support???

Any advice would be great
