aaannnd nothing here either. We've put in several service requests. Our AP/EAD expires in September......UGH. What is going on here! I guess at least i'm not the only one, not that I wish this on anyone lol.

Hey there...I was just panicking about my greencard and saw that you are in the same boat lol. I filed around the same time and mine got transferred also. Its past the 5 mo mark for me......but maybe this means it will happen soon. Did you have an interview? i haven't been scheduled anything/.

Still nothing for us...soon tho. We just booked our tickets for a visit back to Sardegna in July. Do u have any idea if we need some kind of visa to leave the country? And i just heard my husband needs to register with the Italian Consulate in Detroit or something like that? ahh

how are things going? I was just wondering if you have had any signs of life from your AOS. I'm starting to get antsy; we filed ours the first week of September and it looks like u filed a little before us. Ours was transferred over to the California Service Center a while back, so maybe thats a good sign.....anyways, just let me know how things are going so i know im not the only one lo...

Any news on the green card yet? nothing has changed with mine

Hey there We got our EAD and AP a couple of weeks ago...maybe three. Just waiting on the AOS now, whenever that might be. Make sure you have the AP on your EAD before you take off to go home to Italy for the holidays. That's the part that allows you to come back to the US, i think.

Did you guys call or anything to keep up with the status of everything? i'm getting antsy.... So far, i filed, and waited. I didn't call at all

Hey so, Fabio finally got his drivers license in themail and its good for.........1 year!!!!!! Lol....and yesterday we did a walk in biometrics and they didnt say anything about not having an appointment. it was awesome and we were out of there in less than 30 minutes!

Woohoo~! We did a walkin biometrics appointment b/c they scheduled the day of our rehearsal/dinner (for our church wedding) and everything went smoothly....no questions asked, in and out in less than 30 minutes~!

Is there anything that we need to be working on while we wait? lol i feel like i should be doing something

Hey have you thought about getting ur drivers license yet? Fabio and I went today to the BMV to change my name on my license and asked about him. They said he needs to do it before his I-94 expires or wait until he has the green card. So, long story short....get it soon if you dont want to wait forever!

Sending out the AOS, AP, EAD evil packet tomorrow! wahooooo! soo ready to get this paperwork out of my room!

Just got married on Sunday!!!! So things are going really well for us. but NOW we have to do the AOS and all that headache of paperwork, but all is well. Hope the same for you!

And hey, maybe we should make a list and compare things to make sure we both aren't forgetting anything. I'm doing this AOS on my own this time....so maybe we can help each other out!

If you are a K-1, the I-693 instructions state that you are not required to have another medical examination as long as your Form I-485 is filed within one year of your overseas medical examination. Regardless of if you are exempt from a medical exam, you are still required to complete certain portions of the I-693 and have a Civil Surgeon certify the form
