    I see you two have waited quite long. Have you called customer service and placed a service request? Also, have you contacted your senators/congressman.

    Get them involved immediately as these things really made a difference in our case.

    just saw the AOS timelines and noticed you guys were approved. Congrats.

    By any chance did you guys have an interview or was everything simply approved by the CSC?

    Please let us know. We filed roughly two weeks before you guys and have yet to hear from the USCIS.

    just saw your reply... we are still waiting on the GC. It could be a lengthy process judging by how long its taking CSC to approve others who are in a similar boat.

    Updated my timeline... Biometric was smooth and fast... Case transferred to CSC. Now we wait.

    Aargh! Visa received, but the medical records packet looked like it was about to fall apart... taken back to VFS for re-sealing, more hassles!!!

      Thanks for the Consular update! We're going through Mumbai very soon so it was extremely helpful! Although I wish I hadn't had mehendi applied for my engagement ceremony now! But it was my first experience and I was excited to have such beautiful artwork applied! LOL Best wishes for a beautiful life together and congrats! It can only get better from here :o)

    Hey we have our interview coming up soon. Any tips? Whenever you're ready, it would be nice if you can sit down with your fiancee and write a review of how things went with the interview.

    We're at the Mumbai consulate, but i think your success story can definitely help us prepare well. We have all the docs ready, just need to hear your story.

    the email subject is "Request for Special Information" and you can append to that saying "Packet 3 for Case #:XXX Enclosed"...

    the email address is listed at the conulate webpage so do check it out. its mumbaiiv.

    Apparently the way Mumbai does things just goes way over my head... My fiancee was not able to submit Packet 3 to the embassy either at the consulate or the VFS... apparently, email is the *ONLY* way to get packet 3 to them.... ::sigh::

      At our interview in Chennai, there was no Packet 3. They just sent us the Packet 4 and had us bring everything to the interview.

    Same status as your case. Left the NVC Today as well... im psyched.

    NVC got it... i kept relying on the automated system, which kept on telling me that they have no record of my case number. I finally spoke to a rep, told me my case number and that the petition was forwarded to the embassy today... we are finally alive and kicking!!!!
