    Hey Yomi, was he not able to get a direct flight to JFK? Yes my hubby arrived on 9/23 and he took about 4.5 hours in immigration. I would look at the POE reviews for Miami and JFK...the waiting time varies depending on the amount of international flights that arrive at the same time. If I were you I would leave at least 6 hrs for the connecting flight. Better safe than sorry. Good luck :)

      I'm not sure yet but I thought he had to apply for PRE. I wonder if there is an option and which route is faster...
